  1. Sorry but there is just no way Plymouth need a 46k stadium. 12k in the Championship is all you need as evidence really. As I said before the phase one of their plan to take it to 27k is more than enough even if they were in the Premiership. Home Park at 46k would be the 5th biggest stadium in the Premiership.
  2. I bet they wouldn't. They are currently in the Championship and getting of around 12k. Saints in the league below getting 20k. The first phase of Plymouth stadium to take it to 27k is more than enough for them even in the Premiership. Bolton, Blackburn, Wigan etc are all in the Premeirship and have averages in the 20-25k mark. Plymouth would need 25-27k stadium if in the Premiership. Out of all the teams currently in the Premiership only Man City, Man Utd and Arsenal could fill Plymouth's 46k stadium based on current averages.
  3. Plymouth and MK Dons stadiums will be white elephant with current averages of 10k. 46k far to big for those clubs.
  4. The one with Wayne Thomas and Neal Trotman is awesome Thomas is recreating Edvard Munch's "The Scream"
  5. The game was still happening when the kid ran on. Wayne Thomas was still to take a penalty.

  7. http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10280~1906498,00.html Thats great. Its far better to have the second leg at home knowing what you have to do in your own stadium.
  8. I know the kid didn't mean any harm and probably wasn't aware it is wrong to do. However I do still feel that the club can't loosen its rules on this and allow anyone to run onto the pitch. Remember the game wasn't even over as the penalties hadn't finished. I do wonder what the parents were doing at the time!
  9. Because next match all his mates may join him and it snowballs out of control. Sets a dangerous precedent if you allow it, no matter what the age of the kid.
  10. He really shouldn't be proud. Imagine if all 15,000 did that before the last penalty. If you really are his older brother you should tell him never to do anything like it again. Ok, he is young but still needs to know and if with his parents last night they should get a harsh warning for not stopping him.
  11. They can't really do that. As nice as it would have been it would set a precedent and in future we'd get pitch invasions every game and not just one little kid.
  12. The kids parents should be banned not the kid.
  13. And obstructing the view of those that stayed?
  14. Anyone going to admit they left early tonight?
  15. I'd imagine it'll be like in previous rounds they will have a draw live on Sky's Soccer AM program on a Saturday morning. Of course we want to be home in the 2nd leg
  16. However many it is back until the Colchester game at St Mary's that ended 0-0
  17. Even though Wotton has been a good penalty taker throughout his career at Plymouth, did anyone think it was going to row Z as soon as he stepped up?
  18. We knew both these things already but... Three cheers for Liebherr and Cortese! I was sat in the row directly infront of them and it looked like they were really enjoying the game tonight!
  19. Nick, if we had lost on penalties tonight would you really have put it down as a loss in the form thread?
  20. Bart and Papa are the real heros from tonight.
  21. I saw a large number of people leave tonight from 80 minutes onwards. They missed out big time! Also a number then tried entering the stands again when Saints equalised obstructing peoples views. Just stay until the end ffs!
  22. I'm pretty sure Waigo wasn't offside at all in 93 minutes So much more effective than Antonio Pardew worked his magic
  23. You could interchange alot of the articles on http://www.clubfanzine.com/southampton/ or many other Saints fanzines with those published in the Echo and people wouldn't notice you swapped them. btw I don't have an iphone
  24. I'm pretty sure Elland Road has undersoil heating and thus a very low chance heavy snow the night before and not on the day will get the game postponed.
  25. I said when you add that in conjunction to the free content you can get elsewhere for other media outlets which unlike the Echo aren't going to give a Saints sided view and instead are independent. I'd prefer to watch Alan Pardew's pre match and post match interviews in full than read a small part of them in a paper. I'd prefer to watch extended highlights or full match videos than read a match report etc etc
