  1. Matt Paterson gone the other way and NOT on loan.
  2. He may have signed but just not announced until the club is ready. They may be training atm and do press calls later in afternoon.
  3. I've been to Derby, can't understand the accent no matter how hot they are.
  4. I don't think any of those three places would be a good starting point for that.
  5. Crystal Palace and Southend both have big money problems. Saints seem to be on the look out for good players at clubs such as these as the prices are cheaper and you can attract the players(some currently aren't being paid on time). It seems harsh but football has always been like this and is very much a dod eat dog industry. This in tomorrow's Mirror... http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/news/Derby-in-crisis-as-every-player-is-put-up-for-sale-Exclusive-article296073.html So which Derby players would you like to see put on the red and white?
  6. Having just watched the pre match Manager interview on Saints Player if I were a betting man then I would say Oscar Gobern has a good chance of starting the Ipswich game.
  7. It is really a 32k stadium but with 22k seats fitted atm. They want to make it over 40k for the Would Cup when current average attendance is 10k.
  8. Yeah, but only MK Dons and Leeds from League One have got on the England World Cup bid. Leeds of course have a huge fanbase and it is not an issue especially as they move up through the leagues. MK Dons struggle to get 10k, yet may soon have a 40k+ stadium.
  9. No he isn't. For a start there is a 4 or 5 inch height difference.
  10. Not really, if Pompey go out of business all leagues will still have the same amount of teams.
  11. Lisbie has never played for West Ham.
  12. Not just the fans that are thick on the Portsmouth News comment page... Avram Grant chips in with this ridiculous comment http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/2817313/Grant-begs-Av-some-heart.html
  13. How they think MK Dons will fill a 40,000 stadium after 2018 I don't know! A white elephant if ever there was one.
  14. "Most" players of any note would be cup tied for the Ipswich game.
  15. Here is one from left field... Fonte I think could do a decent job as the holding midfielder. He is certainly better on the ball than Wotton.
  16. He is ill.
  17. He was talking about the fullbacks not the captain.
  18. Hutton, Give both a try on their free to play demos and decide for yourself which you prefer... Football Manager 2010 http://www.footballmanager.com/index.php?p=demo Championship Manager 2010 http://www.bigdownload.com/games/championship-manager-2010/pc/championship-manager-2010-demo/
  19. You seem to not know that... Sports Interactive made Championship Manager between 1992-2004 Sports Interactive fell out with game publisher Eidos in 2004 Sports Interactive took the game code and mechanics behind CM and made Football Manager 2005 and FM06, FM07, FM08, FM09 and FM10 Eidos only had the brandname "Championship Manager" left and gave it to developers Beautiful Game Studios to make in 2004. Therefore any CM made after 2004 is NOT related to any CM before 2004. CM started from scratch in 2004. FM10 however has a direct linkage to every CM from 1992-2004 and every FM from 2004-2010
  20. Southend's paper... http://www.echo-news.co.uk/sport/4859425.Saints_first_to_bid_for_Barney/
  21. Southend's paper... http://www.echo-news.co.uk/sport/4859425.Saints_first_to_bid_for_Barney/
  22. Don't be stupid. 14 wins, 5 draws and 2 defeats from 21 games would see Saints on 76 points. 76 points has been enough for the last 10 years to get into the playoffs.
