  1. How is it relevant to Saints making the playoffs?
  2. I'd rather have the points and a hard run in, compared to being 11 points behind, having a game in hand and have an "easy" run in. Not ruling it out, but Colchester, Charlton and Huddersfield are certainly in the better position.
  3. Need Wycombe to do something special at Adams Park tomorrow.
  4. But its not just about Colchester and Huddersfield... Charlton also have a difficult fixture list, are in poor form and also have to visit St Mary's. "Possible" Saints and Huddersfield replace Colchester and Charlton in the playoffs.
  5. The video of the full interview was on Saints player yesterday. Far better to watch that than read about it with bits missing and not knowing what the questions were, otherwise it may be taken out of context.
  6. If it is going to happen it will be just a matter of a few weeks in order to strike whilst the iron is hot and maximize sales.
  7. All top flight players from a relatively poor pool of English players compared to the current generation.
  8. In the 1970's and early 1980's The Dell was attracting crowds of 20,000+ In the 1990's The Dell capacity was reduced due to the Taylor Report. It became 15,000 but had it been larger the crowds would have been larger.
  9. I hope you are joking. A player of 28 years old that has never played above the 3rd Tier of English football. Name some weirder things that have happened in football?
  10. How is that relevant? It was a 15,000 seater stadium so how could they have got more?
  11. As team captain and club captain Hammond and Davis were about to lift the trophy in unison, you could see Papa push his way past Harding and Antonio and grab the trophy. Hence the picture above.
  12. I reckon this is just his agent drumming up interest by linking him to Saints.
  13. Pointless taking him then.
  14. As with all the others you have resulted to insults. Yet when coming to answer why standing is acceptable and not inconsiderate you refuse to comment. It is easy to throw insults, you find it hard to justify your viewpoint.
  15. I'm just sticking to my point. Any reasonable person would agree with me. However expressing a view that people should be considerate for others on this forum brings out of the woodwork all those that aren't considerate. They then come lumbering into the thread with petty insults and their arguments collapse at the first hurdle and are only concerned with how they like to view a game of football and sod everyone else.
  16. At no point did I make a direct comparison between the two. What I did say was that to insult someone for something which they have no control due to genetics, be it hair colour or skin colour is wrong and shouldn't be tolerated.
  17. No, I'm 27 year old and 6 foot 1 . However I was forced to stand for the penalty due to those in front doing so and I obstructed the view of an elderly man behind me. He remained seated as he was too frail to keep standing up and missed the goal. If however everyone was seated, everyone would have had an unobstructed view. I really can't understand why so many in this thread think that this is ok!!!
  18. What if the have no choice and have to sit due to frailty or kids or lack of height? I stood for the penalty but on because I was forced to do so because the rows in front of me did. The frail elderly gentleman behind me with a walking stick was obstructed by 6 foot of me and remained seated and missed it. If everyone had remained seated he would have seen the goal.
  19. I think you have bridged the gap and managed both because you are unable to counter any of my points with anything approaching a coherent argument.
  20. I'd rather be a wierdo than an inconsiderate buffoon that is only concerned with watching the game how they like, rather than taking into account their actions maybe spoiling the experience of a Wembley final for others. Which is the exact position you have taken.
  21. Answer the question rather than throwing around petty insults because you disagree with me. Not a very mature way to discuss something.
  22. How did standing make the penalty any better? You'd have seen exactly the same thing if you were sat down and then jumped up when Lambert scored. In doing so everybody could have seen it rather than just those that were stood up.
  23. Did all Saints fans before they booked tickets read this forum? Did others all around the stadium stand not just behind the goal? Yes. I'd rather be a "boring but considerate to others arsehole" than a selfish d!ck.
