  1. Seaborne will be groomed to take over from Jaidi long term. I think 1st choice will be Jaidi/Fonte atm with Seaborne playing occasionally if Jaidi isn't up to lots of games in a short period. Otsemobor is on a 6 month contract to cover for Murty's injury problems. Either he will do well and earn an extended contract or Saints will buy a new right back in the summer.
  2. The videos work fine and I've never had a problem with the radio. You also have the option of listening to the away commentary which is more interesting. You get things like... - 10 minute Pardew press conference before the match. - New player signing interviews. - Feature videos - Post match player and manager interviews - Extended match highlights (often over 10 minutes long) far better than 30 seconds on the TV - Youth team and reserve matches - For a few matches you get the entire 90 minutes on video - Radio commentary - Video archive - etc etc For £18 a year it is great value and for an oversea Saint like yourself I'd say an essential purchase for such a low price. Wow, I sound like I work for their PR company.
  3. Get Saints player and stop complaining.
  4. Get Saints player, only costs £18. For an overseas fan it is perfect.
  5. The BBC doesn't have FA Cup highlights. ITV has the rights.
  6. Saints have nearly 40 players over 19 years old. Two squads is easy.
  7. He was ill all week. He was on the bench today btw.
  8. umm...no he didn't! http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_div_1/8468680.stm
  9. ummm...Notts County or a Championship team at home is a lot better than a Prem team away.
  10. Well he is 33 years old and still playing in the League above Saints.
  11. Read the 2nd line of what I said and you quoted.
  12. Mike Bassett has always admired Lambert & Barnard.
  13. Now he has gone can we at least spell his name correctly... Matthew Paterson I've seen Saints fans spell it...Patterson, Pattison, Pattersen etc etc
  14. It isn't. Steve Perryman about the Seaborne transfer said it was Saints that wanted it to be undisclosed. Every Saints transfer under Liebherr/Cortese has been done this way.
  15. The pace will come from the wings. Barnard still fast enough to cause a threat at this level.
  16. Not in the JPT they won't! Lee Barnard is cup-tied. Only in the playoffs and FA Cup.
  17. Because they don't want other clubs to know how much we have or haven't got. Makes good business sense so Saints don't get ripped off in future deals.
  18. I have been told the current number and sadly it wasn't Numberwang!
  19. Oxymoron
  20. You can't change numbers mid season. It is just a training bib, means nothing. Hence why Lambert is wearing number 9 and not his number 7. Barnard imo will be number 17 vacated by Paterson.
  21. He'd be great in this league even though he is a Pompey player of 8 years. I'd be happy if he signed as is exactly the type of player Saints need. One drawback to signing him is that it is giving money to Pompey.
  22. He is about 5 inches shorter and a very different sort of player.
  23. Because with Barnard joining he is a long way from ever starting for Saints. If he was included in the deal the transfer fee would come down. Southend wouldn't bother saying it was a separate deal if it wasn't.
  24. Southend OS says Paterson was a separate deal, so not a part exchange.
  25. According to Southend OS Paterson was a... So it was NOT a swap deal. Very likely a future package arranged with high % sell on clause as he went for free.
