The Premier League have no power to stop them going bust.
-
During that time that I think you are referring it was switching to 442 and brining on Connolly that made the difference. Pardew will continue to use both systems(442 and 451) and switch during and between games.
-
Otsemobor and Seaborne are Pardew's first choice and that is unlikely to change.
-
After the match he did NOT say in the BBC Radio Solent Saturday evening interview that Saints wouldn't buy another player this January.

Lambert Barnard Papa Waigo Connolly Lallana Antonio Have all played upfront this season

That isn't more. That is just what Warnock said yesterday.

Saints V Stockport County - Post Match Reaction
Matthew Le God replied to St Landrew's topic in The Saints
It doesn't matter what Fiorentina think now. They have already written into the loan deal that Papa Waigo can sign for Saints if they want him and the price has been agreed already. -
Most teams in the Championship are broke. So when Saints go up either this season or next they should be able to compete quite quickly towards the top of the League.

All of Wotton's determination(which is good to see of course) doesn't take away that nearly every touch of the ball he has is poor, negative and quite often an aimless hoof that losses possession and breaks up Saints attacks. When Hammond replaces Wotton it will make a huge difference!

He made these comments at 5pm today. Would he bother mentioning it in the way he did if Saints interest had ended? Sounded like he was trying to fend Saints off still.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/c/crystal_palace/8489498.stm Sky Sports News say the same as the BBC. Perhaps most telling is that it says £2.5m on the Palace official website.

I have a feeling Papa's lack of English isn't helping him and this is a large reason(but not only) why he isn't playing more games. Morgan having to translate everything for him in the BBC Solent interview after the game today. He has the ability clearly so there must be something keeping him out and not being able to communicate easily with coaching staff and teammates could be a contributing factor.
-
Victor Moses off to Wigan for £2.5m I wonder how much cash Palace need to keep the creditors happy until the summer.
-
You forgot team captain Dean Hammond. Also you seem to think Morgan Schneiderlin has become two players!
-
No he didn't, I just watched it on Saints player and he skips round the question to talk about not having to sell any players instead.
-
He didn't actually say that. I just watched it on Saints player and he skips round the question to talk about not having to sell any players instead.

I added a little myself.

It was conceived during the times of no January transfer window in order to prevent a wealthy, still competing team from gaining an unfair advantage by signing talented players from clubs that may have lost out in earlier rounds. In an attempt to increase their cup chances. Now pointless really as the smaller transfer windows remove this.
-
Would have had to sign before midday actually.
-
Source? It does make sense to do this from Saints point of view.
-
Have we had all of those players since the start of the season?...No Did Pardew get a full pre-season to work with them?...No Does the -10 distort the actual achievements?...Yes Do I think despite all this Saints should have been higher?...Yes, Pardew still should have done better, but he hasn't done badly.
-
When did I say that? All I was doing is proving your statement that we weren't signing players from higher teams. Also read what I said about Barnard at the end of the previous post. You are the one that judged him based on one shot in his second ever game so maybe I should give up with you!!!
