I know it is Oldham. But if Southend are removed from the league it means Saints like all other playoff hopefuls are on 39 games and that effectively means no game in hand for Saints and no fixture on the final day of the season.

How would this impact on the League? Well it would become a 44 game season and Saints wouldn't have a game on the last day of the season taking away the game in hand. Saints would very likely been mathematically safe BEFORE the Charlton game. Yes, you look at the points the teams in the relegation zone can get, however that doesn't take into account the large number of teams between Saints and them. Those teams would have to play each other in the remaining games and so impossible for them all to overtake Saints.

I've not been impressed with him so far. Passing is poor, first touch is poor, positioning is very poor and he miss times his jump for a lot of headers and when he does win a header he heads it aimlessly without thinking where it will end up. Jose Fonte has an increased work load covering for Seaborne's mistakes. We are lucky Fonte is so awesome he does the job of two centre backs.
