Saints related?
-
Well as Thomson and Jaidi are at the club still like you said, Saints do currently have internationals.
-
Yes, I would think so. Notts County faced a HMRC winding up order and that was delayed for 28 days because the bill was relatively small at £300k and they proved they had new investment coming. Pompey don't have a small debt nor proof of investment coming in so giving 28 days would be pointless and delaying the inevitable.
-
Source? Because they have no "point of law" on the HMRC, others on the petition are straight forward which Pompey can't appeal against and is a frivolous waste of the courts time.
-
About four parties on it now I think.
-
They can't appeal unless it is on a "point of law". I don't think they have a "point of law" and any appeal would be deemed frivolous like when Rio Ferdinand appealed. The Feb 10th court appearance should be straight forward. Notts county were given 28 days because the tax bill was relatively small at £300k and they have proven to the court that they have investment coming. Pompey have no investment and the tax bill is £11m and they have many other debts.
-
Yep, it is today. I don't think he is going to get his £9m today nor the other £20m in 2012.
-
Because it is transfer deadline day tomorrow.
-
They aren't allowed to appeal unless it is on a "point of law". They have no "point of law", so the case will be a formality.
-
The Premier League can't give them time. It is in the hands of the courts.
-
Unlikely Portsmouth city council would give planning permission to anything other than a stadium on the site.
-
The Premier League have no power to stop them going bust.
-
During that time that I think you are referring it was switching to 442 and brining on Connolly that made the difference. Pardew will continue to use both systems(442 and 451) and switch during and between games.
-
Otsemobor and Seaborne are Pardew's first choice and that is unlikely to change.
-
After the match he did NOT say in the BBC Radio Solent Saturday evening interview that Saints wouldn't buy another player this January.
-
Lambert Barnard Papa Waigo Connolly Lallana Antonio Have all played upfront this season
-
That isn't more. That is just what Warnock said yesterday.

Saints V Stockport County - Post Match Reaction
Matthew Le God replied to St Landrew's topic in The Saints
It doesn't matter what Fiorentina think now. They have already written into the loan deal that Papa Waigo can sign for Saints if they want him and the price has been agreed already. -
Most teams in the Championship are broke. So when Saints go up either this season or next they should be able to compete quite quickly towards the top of the League.

All of Wotton's determination(which is good to see of course) doesn't take away that nearly every touch of the ball he has is poor, negative and quite often an aimless hoof that losses possession and breaks up Saints attacks. When Hammond replaces Wotton it will make a huge difference!
-
He made these comments at 5pm today. Would he bother mentioning it in the way he did if Saints interest had ended? Sounded like he was trying to fend Saints off still.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/c/crystal_palace/8489498.stm Sky Sports News say the same as the BBC. Perhaps most telling is that it says £2.5m on the Palace official website.

I have a feeling Papa's lack of English isn't helping him and this is a large reason(but not only) why he isn't playing more games. Morgan having to translate everything for him in the BBC Solent interview after the game today. He has the ability clearly so there must be something keeping him out and not being able to communicate easily with coaching staff and teammates could be a contributing factor.
