Well there is disrespect because you called it Micky Mouse. Just saying "no disrespect" doesn't remover the implication of what you said! Always odd when people say things like that

The plans at present are missing any king of water facility. I hope the changes the Echo mention to the plans will include the high tech rehabilitation, hydrotherapy pools and training pools that are commonplace at all new Premiership training grounds. Maybe they should move the academy accommodation onto the training site to make it like a university campus.

Yep, I've complained about the kit already. It has been an issue in a few FM games now and still not fixed. The game doesn't seem to cope when Saints play teams in orange or claret. Hopefully will be fixed one day soon -

I get my Saints file back to work on for the "February update" in January so will look in more detail then. I have already asked for Connolly to be improved so should be done already(basically swapped his CA with Saganowski). -

Things like the training ground upgrade is making it more likely that there "may" be changes to make Mr Liebherr a foreground sugar daddy for any January update. Any decision will also be based on transfer activity in the window, but things are looking good. Evidence is needed for such a thing as one club having loads of cash has a major impact on the English Leagues for everyone that plays them -
I wonder how it compares to... Stokes £5m development http://www.stokecityfc.com/page/TrainingGroundIndex/0,,10310,00.html Colchester £2m development http://www.cu-fc.com/page/News/0,,10424~1821471,00.html Tottenham Hotspur £30m development http://www.tottenhamhotspur.com/futureplans/trainingcentre/index.html Chelsea http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e75o63E3RLk As well as these examples there are quite a few other Prem and Non Prem teams currently with plans to improve training grounds or have recently completed.

Cortese offers you £5m on Jan 1st...what would you do?

We have James, Murty and Thomas for right back, that is more than enough for League One. -
I guess he found it because there are loads of stories about it on news sites. For example... http://www.football.co.uk/southampton/saints_target_training_ground_upgrade_rss279973.shtml http://www.teamtalk.com/football/story/0,16368,1783_5753497,00.html http://www.football.virginmedia.com/page/Southampton/NewsDetail/0,,12555~1897914,00.html

If we get close to the playoffs they will all come flooding back. Basically we have a "hardcore" of 16,000 who will turn up no matter what. Then about 20,000 - 25,000 fair weather supporters.
-
The players will be in portacabins until July when this is potentially finished. Poor them, will be like they are training for Pompey!
-
The article for the training ground keeps mentioning "lack of space " on the site. I wonder if they have or would consider moving completely to a new site. Maybe hard to do with planning and green belts but would give more space. I wonder if any plans have been drawn up to improve St Mary's? Changing rooms at St Mary's have already been done in last few weeks but will anything else internally be upgraded or a stadium capacity expansion in the pipeline for potentially playing in the Premiership again.
-
Those saying we should sign seem to forget he is probably on between 20k - 30k per week and we are in League One. Those that mention Sol Campbell forget he is 36. Beattie still has a few years left in him as a Prem player.

Better question... Bear with scuba-diving equipment versus shark?
-
Tranmere's away record reads... Won 1 Draw 1 Lost 8 For 6 Against 23 Looks promising for the first "big" Saints win of the season, or 0-0

Over the last eighteen months only Man City have spent more than Spurs so would be asking alot! Spurs have spent more than Man Utd, Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal.
-
We have won Leagues, come 2nd and 3rd in the past. I'm sure it has been bettered at some point in the last 124 years.
-
You are either joking or stupid. For your sake I hope it is the former even if it isn't funny.
-
Rupert Lowe was not the one that put the club into administration, it was out of his hands. The creditors called in the debt.
-
Maths not a strong point for some on here not realizing that a draw is 2 points dropped
-
Don't be stupid! Why on earth would Lowe have deliberately put us into administration? He lost all his shares and one hell of alot of money! It was the creditors that forced us into admin at the time it happened, although it was mainly down to poor management at board level for many years from all regimes(Lowe, Crouch, Wilde etc) that it came to it.
-
We have won a few leagues and come 2nd and 3rd a number of times in the past so it is quite likely in has been better in the past.
-
Why? Basically we are already in the playoffs(form wise over the season so far) if you add the 10 points back and that was with a very slow start to the League. 9 points over 26 games to catch some lets be honest poor sides above us is very possible.
-
For the 1st time this season if the 10 points added back we'd be in the top 6. 9 points from the playoffs and 26 games left. Very possible now. Wasn't it you Arizona that said you'd be happy with 5th bottom? Surely we should all be unhappy if we don't make the play offs now?
