I'm sure there is likely to be more than one person called Matthew working at Charlton player or staff, so to say it is 110% Matthew Holland is stretching it.
From what I've seen they like him. Played over 30 league games for a team promoted to the Prem last season. Released him as he doesn't have enough pace for the Premiership, that shouldn't be as much of a problem in League One and he should win every header
All people stating things like this miss the point why football clubs offer student discounts.
It similar to what banks do. Every high street bank tries tempting students to take up their student accounts in the hope that these future big money earners will be future customers and spend money at the club for years to come.
Saints have made the mistake in thinking that Southampton supporting students only go to local universities when that isn't the case and most have to travel long distances at great cost if they want to see a game.
Well I was a post grad trainee teacher at the age of 24 and I was on just a 6k training bursary for a year and had to pay 3k tuition fees. It certainly wasn't the life of a 1st year undergrad when I was 18 with beer and house parties every night as you have to work 5 days a week in the school and live on the 3k left over for the year.
So trainee doctors and teachers are on an extended "jolly"?
This country would be a mess if e didn't invest in our students. Once they graduate they are the highest tax payers for the next 40 years of their lives so any tax dodger claims are stupid.
A large number of graduate and post graduate courses take people out of the 16-21 range.
Why is that better than Southampton being one of those teams that runs away with it?
If Saints do aswell as Leicester did last season they would come 3rd. 1 point away from 2nd place and automatic promotion.
Saints related?
He was never ever going to come here. Likely to be on close to 20k at Boro.
Might as well include Ronaldo and Kaka to Madrid threads on the Saints main forum.
Would you like to stand next to a drummer for 23 games?
I certainly wouldn't and see no reason why someone that has paid for a ticket should have to endure it.
No, there probably won't be any more news until September. The screenshot in the opening post was released by mistake by the Managing Director of SI on Twitter. I'm sure SEGA told him off for that.
