Not of the questions asked in the OP. Saints got into trouble last time because they had a large mortgage on the stadium and an overdraft. That just won't happen under Liebherr. Saints haven't overspent imo on any player so far.

He said "as far as we know". Saints may well be after right backs but hasn't reached the media or ITK fans yet. Personally I doubt a right back will join Saints until the summer at the earliest.

People complain rightly that Rupert Lowe didn't spend or invest any money whilst at the club. Now Saints get a very rich chairman that wipes out all debt, paying off the stadium mortgage and starts spending on players and the training ground to get back to the Premiership and people complain. Markus Liebherr's business philosophy is not to have any debt. Saints are in safe hands.

I doubt that would work. Offers no width or protection for the full backs.

Pardew wouldn't drop Hammond(his captain) or Morgan much. Pardew will likely stick with his 442 and 451 tactics switching between the two. The 451 allows all 3(Stock/Hammond/Schneiderlin) to play and gives Connolly a rest. Danns is very comfortable out wide. At just 5 foot 9 I think he is too small to play in a Pardew type central role.

No chance it will be anywhere near £1m or even £500k. His contract ends in 6 months so £200k is more likely.

I put Danns out right in my formation as Hammond/Schneiderlin/Stock would start in the middle. Danns has played wide in the past, think he is central atm for Palace.

If these signing come off. I predict Saints to continue using the 2 formations they have been using so far.
