Generally the player meets the manager to discuss how the player will fit into his plans. Talk about his ambitions and sell the club to him. Of course Cortese can do alot of the work without that. But if I were a player I'd like to meet Pardew before signing anything. So Pardew being away delays any deals for a few days if the player hasn't already met him.

Maybe it is true. But the way it happened earlier was very strange. i.e. At one point you could only see Davies if you used the link in the OP. If you tried to get to the same page any other way he didn't show. I think that would raise suspicions in most people.

No it hasn't, the OP link still works and Davies is number 23. But if you go onto the OS as you would normally Davies is not there.

It only happens if you follow the link in the OP. If you go to the OS in the normal way you would. Arron Davies is not there.

It is just masking one page and hotlinking to the real site.

This is rubbish and a photoshop with a fake website. Go onto the OS in the normal way you would and look and you will see that number 23 is Lloyd James.

David Connolly and Rickie Lambert is up there already tbh. Simeon Jackson/David Connolly/Papa Waigo/Rickie Lambert would be an awesome 4 strikers for most Championship club squads.

Good competition with Connolly for the 2nd striker role if it is true.

With the money spent I'd say his job would be in danger if they don't finish in the top 8. The dip in form required for Saints not to finish in the top 8 would mean losing alot of games to very poor sides between now and May.

But that is based on nothing. Notts County were given foreground status on far less evidence. No-one even knew who the owners were! Liebherr has paid off all debt, spent alot on playing/backroom staff and funded a new training ground all without taking on any debt. Mandaric isn't anywhere near as rich as Liebherr and would have struggled to fund a Premiership team adequately with Pompey's infrastructure so left. Liebherr on the other hand can. Where would be the fun for a billionaire to get the team promoted and then leave at the point you reach the big time? At the moment on FM10 background status sugar daddy for Liebherr means he doesn't invest money nor stop players leaving for small amounts. All he does is input cash should the balance go into the red. This is clearly wrong as the evidence that he is putting money in is mounting by the day.
