  1. Our billionaire has spent more on transfer and loan fees(not wages though).
  2. That was the point I was making.
  3. Few clubs in the lower leagues ever spend anywhere near to the amount that they bring in. Mr Liebherr has already spent alot of money compared to every other club in this league. Remember our 6 new players would all have had signing on fees and agent fees along with the total fees which are 4 times what anyone else in League One have spent.
  4. A step up in wages.
  5. 1) Iplayer shows the show whenever you want for 7 days after the Saturday night show.. 2) You can record it. 3) BBC website keeps all the goals on it from Monday onwards. 4) Sky Sports News on a Freeview box shows all the goals every hour. What more do you want?
  6. If you can't be bothered to record or watch it online on iplayer then your argument about it being "appalling scheduling" falls apart.
  7. A player that the French international set up rate highly as do a number of Premiership clubs. He is worth ALOT more than £2m.
  8. Sorry, I've signed a NDA so can't say either way.
  9. Plymouth made their bid 9 days ago on the 21st August 2009
  10. Not strictly true as there is a date from which even free transfers can't be signed. I think in early December.
  11. Well he didn't score then. "Disallowed goal" is an oxymoron. It isn't a goal unless it is allowed.
  12. 1 point Millwall plus 1 point Brentford plus 3 points Stockport plus 3 points Colchester equals 8 points, so -2 Primary school maths that is.
  13. You weren't right. You said Lambert 44 minutes. It was Lambert 46 minutes.
  14. I did my University dissertation on this Impact on the environment/society/economy of urban sports stadium redevelopment and town planning using St Mary's as a case study.
  15. The corporate boxes and the lack of room behind the Itchen Stand make it difficult to put an extra tier on that stand.
  16. It was designed so you can add a tier on each of the Kingsland, Northam and Chapel stands taking capactiy to between 52k and 54k.
  17. Numerous interviews in the press over the last 60 years about how the Liebherr family does its business.
  18. It is. My point was Mr Liebherr if funding it himself(if England or Saints don't win the bid but want to expand capacity anyway) wouldn't take out a loan as he doesn't like debt. If you are willing to expand in order to hold 2 one off games in 9 years time. Then surely you would still consider expanding it yourself even if it did cost you more money. The ground would still be 40k or more after the tournament.
  19. Well our friendly billionaire owner that doesn't like debt would
  20. If the club is willing to expand the ground for a World Cup bid, maybe it would consider it even without a World Cup bid as we'd have to live with the increased capacity either way after 2018.
  21. Can't have 3 stadiums in one city. This is an English bid not Wales.
  22. He wouldn't have to pay for it all. As it is for the World Cup we'd get some funding towards the cost. Obviously not all the money but a fair bit of it. Docker P, where did you find this out? You have given no source or link. I'd love for this to be true.
  23. Saints weren't any good in real life last season. Thus it is reflected in the game.
  24. Better to be a challenge rather than a walk in the park.
