As I said it may change now their game is off. He has been a very important player to them. They have a small squad. He is still under contract and should be professional. Hundreds of players have signed deals with other clubs and continued playing. The date is relevant because unless Carlisle decide otherwise he is a Carlisle player until 12th January. Nothing Saints or Pericard can do about it.

As he is contracted to Carlisle until the 12th they would want him available for every game possible. Why would Carlisle release him early when they don't have to? Saints would be getting him on a free at end of a short term 3 month contract he signed in October that expires in January. They are NOT buying him. (may change now their game is off)
