Nonsense. Forcing a manager like Branfoot out is irrelevant to forcing an owner to make a huge financial loss. The Lowe situation and what happened is nothing like what is being suggested with Sport Republic.

Those things did not force the owners to sell the club.

How? They can't leave unless there is a buyer and they want to sell. Without Saints, Sport Republic lose their keystone club. If they sold now it would be at a loss. So what incentive is there to sell?

What has he done to show he is better option than Archer?

Even though he currently doesn’t look to be a good signing, his value is not £0. Makes no sense to pay him the rest of his contract and leave for nothing, when he could be sold and some of the transfer fee recouped.

"Cancelling his contract" does not save money. He is due those wages, you cant just end his contract and not pay him. It also removes a means to get some of the money we spent on him back from selling him.

How does that help? Saints would have to pay him a huge amount of money.

They are rated the 4th best team in the Championship in FM24, so it is not "stupidly overated". Ended up matching reality! Mara does not have a high CA or PA in FM24, so that is not a data issue. Have you considered you may just be a better manager than Russell Martin? 😉
