1885 to 2020 being the 135th anniversary was the main focus of the marketing campaign. 135 years seems a strange number for an anniversary.

Did this year's 135 anniversary really count as a meaningful anniversary? 🤔

We haven't played the team (Barnsley) I said I want promoted in the Premier League for 23 years. That adds variety!

If they want a block in the Kingsland for more posh seats... then it sounds like they need another tier in the Kingsland for more affordable seats for those displaced. 😉

Home form has not been the problem this season, the away form is the issue. It is the reverse of 2019/20 when our away form was superb but poor at home. You appear to be responding to something I haven't said. I didn't say it was impossible to enjoy lower league football. But to wish to stay there indefinitely is strange when progression is possible and even more strange when you are already in the top league and wish to drop out if it.

British clubs haven't had it before, so it isn't a case of having it 'back'. British clubs have already been given the green light to install sections so no need for a campaign. 1) An endless cycle of lower league football and no progression isn't good. League One and the Championship promotions were fun supporting Saints... but it was fun because the club was progressing upwards. An endless stay in the lower leagues is not fun. 2) Which opinions? Not agreeing with someone doesn't mean you don't go to games. I wouldn't be doing my role for FM for the last 14 years without going to games home and away.

The other three have deeper squads and more resources behind them. Swansea and Bournemouth have built that up from recent time in the top league and Brentford have had a sustained period as a top Championship team. This season has been a sudden upturn in fortunes for Barnsley and they still have a lot of lower Championship elements to their setup.

I'd rather Barnsley went up. Not because I think Saints will be in a relegation battle, just that I want the weakest opponent possible to come up.

That would leave us with 2 PL quality fullbacks. I think we'll get two new fullbacks at worst, but hopefully three.

No they aren't. Recent recruitment has been pretty good. To compare now to the mess we were in from 2005 to 2009 is bizarre.
