  1. Again, not relevant as Saints have under 23 staff in real life. Rohl leaving does not alter that.
  2. Why have you included youth team and goalkeeper coaches? Saints have youth team and goalkeeper coaches. Rohl leaving makes no difference to that.
  3. What extra work load would he be taking on? Saints have 3 senior team coaches (Fleming, Davis, Watson) and senior team video analysts.
  4. Better for there to be no links and something happening out of the media glare, than lots of links with no foundation to them.
  5. What does that mean? Did they say a bid had been made or they were thinking about it?
  6. No, he is 'first team assistant coach'. The same job title as Fleming and Watson. Rohl was the assistant manager.
  7. Should transparency extend to public disclosure of an employee's reasons for leaving a post? Perhaps Rohl doesn't want the reason publicly announced.
  8. My opinion is they are not 'blood sucking leeches'. Why do you think they are? It takes two to sign a contract, not their fault Saints handed out some daft deals.
  9. Why should they give up the contract if they fulfil their side of the contract and turn up to work each day they are supposed to?
  10. What is your plan for this part?
  11. Is he? I'd rather have Bednarek, Vestergaard & Yoshida!
  12. I doubt Reading will view it as a win. That is the default compensation package and isn't a huge amount.
  13. I think you would be in a tiny minority there! Stones is a lot better than Yoshida. No he doesn't.
  14. Bednarek surely above Hoedt in the pecking order.
  15. He peaked 3-4 years ago!
  16. The article is hard to take seriously when it says... However... Southampton FC @SouthamptonFC · 21h Welcome, @MoussaDjenepo2 ! The #SaintsFC summer signing has arrived in Rotterdam to watch his new teammates in action!
  17. What exactly are you disagreeing with? How does a 90 minute flight to Dublin have a tangible negative impact on the squad? It takes longer than that to drive to Preston for a friendly! Austria and Rotterdam are not long flights either.
  18. Austria, Ireland and Holland are not long trips that will have any real impact on the players. The China trip only involved a small number of first team players.
  19. Scoring a goal
  20. How do you know this? Can you define your use of 'in for him'?
  21. Our points per game average under Hasenhuttl would have us in 11th last season over a 38 game season. With a full pre-season and additions of Adams, Djenepro and hopefully a couple of others we should be some distance away from mere survival.
  22. I can! True, but does that have any impact on what Gunn does in a game? Do you know for certain the club is looking to sell Cedric? So what? If Hasenhuttl thinks Vokins is ready, then why not trust his judgement? A new centre back would be useful, and Hasenhuttl appears confident we'll be making further signings. Lets see what happens in the next two weeks. We have more than two who can play there... Hojbjerg, Romeu, Ward-Prowse, Slattery, Smallbone and Armstrong
  23. Not if we play 4222 and he remains 4th/5th choice behind Bednarek, Vestergaard, Yoshida and possibly Hoedt.
  24. Why weren't those 'proper ones'?
