If Osvaldo is sold Saints already have a transfer fee agreed in the loan to Juventus and Ramirez is a useful first team player.

This is the only time he's spoken to broadcast media whilst at Saints... http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/17548088

Because his profile and value has increased significantly since he signed his contract last summer and in order to keep him Saints may need to offer him a bigger wage.

wearing an away shirt in with home fans - kids
Matthew Le God replied to Spudders's topic in The Saints
If an adult goes to a game in the home end with a child in an away shirt it makes it look through association like that adult is an away fan in the home end. It really isn't worth the trouble it could potentially cause. -
Have you considered one of the main ways we can tell sarcasm is through the tone of the delivery? Not something that you can always pick up on when the statement is only in text form. Oh, so you have. Then why the previous comment?

Patrick Bamford.

4 goals in 22 games, yes those goals were useful but he was a very limited player in a poor Saints side struggling against relegation.

Ref: "Gibbs, you're off!" Oxlade-Chamberlain: "But ref, it was me!" Ref: "Shut up Walcott, get on with the game"

He is described as a "starlet" because it is a Bolton newspaper reporting the story in a positive light for their readership. Robinson is out of contract in the summer and behind teenagers like Ward-Prowse, Reed and others in the pecking order of young Saints central midfielders. Robinson is only 9 months younger than Wanyama.

I've only ever claimed to be "ITK" twice, and I was right on both occasions when I said Jack Stephens and Sam Gallagher would be signing from Plymouth long before they actually did or it making any newspaper. http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?34280-Sam-Gallagher-Plymouth-Argyle-youth-player-to-sign-for-Saints&highlight=Gallagher#.Uyxi2tx8bR4 So my ITK success rate is 100%.
-
Why is it odd? As you say he doesn't play for the under 21's much as he has dropped down the pecking order after his return from injury.
-
Cork and Ramirez trained today with the rest of the first team.

Have you actually read the article that one references? It does not link Isgrove to Man Utd! Merely says Phil Neville went to the Man City vs Saints under 21 game. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2580122/Reid-Milner-Spurs-radar-Sherwood-seeks-Premier-League-pedigree-Rodwell-closer-City-exit-Liverpool-face-fight-PSG-Konoplyanka-TRANSFER-COLUMN.html

Even if we go back to stripes we won't look identical to Stoke next season, as they are moving from Adidas to Warrior... http://www.stokecityfc.com/news/article/stoke-city-announce-warrior-link-up-1430103.aspx

The last available accounts showed the club made a £900,000 profit for the final six months of 2012 and a wage bill that was 59% of turnover! http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/21712482 Not an indication of the books being in a "real mess", but actually as far as Premier League clubs go it is a relatively healthy financial position up to the start of 2013.

But the question was if one of Lambert or Rodriguez was injured what options do we have. In which case the one of Lambert/Rodriguez that wasn't injured would start upfront, plus we'd have Gallagher still on the bench. The rest of the squad shuffles round the other attacking midfield spots.

Saints will want to finish in the top four in order to prolong their season by getting into the end of season playoffs. Saints now only have 3 games left to make it, so may need to put out strong sides to get the points they need... http://www.premierleague.com/en-gb/matchday/barclays-u21-premier-league-tables.html?paramYouthStage=NATIONAL

If Lambert or Rodriguez was injured between now and Sunday the front four in the 4-2-3-1 system could be made up of a mix of... Lallana Ramirez Rodriguez/Lambert (whichever wasn't the injured player) Gallagher Ward-Prowse S.Davis Guly Do Prado In any case Gallagher isn't going to be tired playing today and then on Sunday.
-
Gallagher played for the under 21's on 14th March, and then was on the bench for the first team vs Norwich on 15th March. It isn't the first time we've done similar, he won't play 90 minutes often for the first team and still needs game time in his development. If Lambert or Rodriguez were to be injured we have more options than just Gallagher.
-
He has continued to play for the under 21's throughout his time wight he first team. Take Saturday for example, if Gallagher only played for the first team he'd only have had 5 minutes of game time in a week, which isn't good for his development when he could also play for the under 21's as he did last Friday and today. No harm with him playing for the under 21's and then appearing on the first team bench and that is what they've been doing with him.

Do we need a new centre back or could Chambers play there?
Matthew Le God replied to Dazza82's topic in The Saints
A defence of... Shaw Lovren Chambers Clyne Would be interesting to see at some point in the remaining 8 Premier League games or in pre-season. Chambers has the physique and aerial ability to be a centre back and it would allow us to fit Clyne and Chambers into the same team. -
Arsenal want £10m Chambers - London Evening Standard

Chambers is playing at centre back for the under 21's this afternoon vs Fulham, perhaps Pochettino thinks there is a future for him there. A defence of...
