As Tadic is the Lallana replacement and Pelle the Lambert replacement, I think its more likely Pelle would get the 7 shirt.

Why is he "shafted"? He has a players contract and salary until June 2016, i'm sure he'll cope. Does he even have coaching badges completed? He has no experience as a 1st team coach. Instead we've appointed the England goalkeeper coach, I think that shows a good level of quality and ambition from the club don't you? Because we need more than just the Koeman brothers to coach the 1st team and Sammy Lee is a highly respected coach in English football. He won 3 league titles and 2 European cups as a player and has been the assistant manager of Liverpool and a coach for England. It appears he is a very high quality appointment for such a role at Saints.

I don't know, but just because it isn't in the public domain that doesn't mean the club don't know who they want and aren't working on it or even close to a deal for someone.

Lallana hasn't been sold yet and the media are reporting we are close to signing Tadic to replace him. Saints selling Lambert before or after signing Pelle would make no difference to the price for the latter.

An attacking midfielder that was the 4th top scorer, top assist maker and chance creator (by some considerable distance!) in the Dutch league suggests he has something about him. Of course that is no guarantee he''ll make it in the Premier League, but he at least appears to be of a good standard to replace Lallana.

I used the phase "on the verge". In any case Lallana hasn't actually left yet, and Saints looked to be close to a deal for Tadic. Is that not a good thing?
