Not the fault of the crosser if he puts in a good ball and it isn't converted. We've all been frustrated by failure to convert good chances recently.
-
His passing, crossing, corners and free-kicks are Beckham like. The stats show he is possibly the best crosser in the Premier League despite not starting many games. He has a huge future, don't write him off at 19 years old ffs. He is technically superb with both feet and the England coaching staff have very high hopes for him with Hodgson mentioning him as a potential England senior player. Plus...
-
He is only 19 years old ffs and you've both written him off already! How many 19 year olds play 30 games (by late February) for a top half Premier League side and are starters in the England under 21 side? He is technically superb, yes he's not going to beat a player by dribbling past him at pace, but his crossing is up their with the best in the Premier League (which the stats back up this season). His corners and set pieces are also superb. I'm really not sure what more you expect from a 19 year old squad player?
-
Well thats ridiculous, he has played in 30 games for us this season (3rd highest in the squad) for good reason... he is an outstanding prospect. Yes, a lot of those are sub appearances but he has a number of good players ahead of him and is solid squad member of a top half club. If Shaw and Chambers start as teenagers for us, Ward-Prowse a regular in the match day squad, why are you then dismissive out of hand for an 18 year old striker (Gallagher) being back up for us if the coaches think he is capable? Shouldn't players be judged on their own merit rather than their age? "Full of himself" really? What makes you think that? Comes across as extremely level headed and well spoken to me.
-
January is a difficult month to buy anyone decent, let alone someone decent on a loan with a view to buy. Pochettino said he was impressed with Gallagher. You earlier dismissed him as just an 18 year old, are you not happy with Shaw, Ward-Prowse, Chambers getting starts in the Premier League? Perhaps you should trust the coaches judgement a little more?
-
You are jumping to conclusions. Do you have any solid evidence the funding is stoping? Even if it did, we still would have money to spend through general income of TV money, prize money etc. We didn't spend much in the January 2013 window either, didn't stop the club spending big in the summer 2013 window. Osvaldo is still a Saints player and the Osvaldo/Fonte training ground incident happened towards the end of the window. Have you considered the club are looking to sell him and a better time to get a replacement rather than rushing in January and waiting until the summer?

His performances after a long injury and in a season where he would have known we weren't going to play CL football or qualify for it?

Based on what?

Is beating Swansea 4-3 at home "**** hot"?

Would You Care If Pochettino Left Tommorow?
Matthew Le God replied to Pastor Patrón's topic in The Saints
We outplayed West Ham today having 25 shots, 69% possession, 11 corners... just couldn't convert chances. As is often the tale when teams park the bus against us. We are in our joint highest ever position in the Premier League. So yes, I would miss the manager that has got us there. -

This'll go down well if it makes it to KUMB... in terms of player quality we are significantly above them all over the pitch. Pochettino is unlikely to want any West Ham player in his starting XI. Lucky I'm not a West Ham season ticket holder, would need a neck brace. Yes, they won today but their style of football/rugby is dire to watch week in week out.

Mopo "We are targeting the Europa League"
Matthew Le God replied to Glasgow_Saint's topic in The Saints
No-one I have seen on this forum has posted anything remotely close to saying that. You've made quite a leap from people saying they were disappointed we didn't play our strongest side to thinking people are saying we were guaranteed to win it. -
Its not out yet and no release date has been confirmed. When it does come out Steam will update automatically (unless you've turned that option off) and on the start screen you'll see its version 14.3 in the bottom right corner, plus give you the option to use the 14.3 data when starting a new game. A huge number of changes have been made to the Saints data, far too many for me to list. A lot more players getting increases in CA than those getting decreases.

It has never officially been Upton Park, that is just a nickname due to the area. The stadium has always been called the Boleyn Ground.
-
Saints have two Premier League games before the Austria vs Uruguay game and Ramirez will have been in full training for nearly a month by then.

He's 62, don't trust "Sky sources".

Cortese leaving doesn't by default mean she has lost interest, she has actually said publicly nothing has changed. Until we have reason to believe otherwise, haven't the Liebherr family earned a bit more trust than you have currently afforded them?
-
She's been the owner since 2010 and in that time the club have spent £75m+ on players and £30m+ on infrastrucure.

For all the teams below us to surpass 39 points it would mean a large number of upsets during the rest of the season. It simply won't happen as the large number of teams below us will either be taking points off each other, or facing the likes of Man City, Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal, Spurs, Everton, Newcastle and Man Utd in their remaining 12 games.
-
You can change your Steam settings so it doesn't automatically update. But I think you should let it update, it'll make the game better.
-
If they do, think of it as a new challenge.
-
Lots of changes to player abilities and other things. It'll come with match engine improvements and bug fixes in other areas.
-
Quite excited then! No. Umm... no.

Blackadder telegram to Charlie Chaplin "please, please, please, stop". Are you really unable to see that with 12 games to go and the bottom 3 on 24 points and under and twelve teams below Saints that we won't be caught by enough teams to send us down even if we lose every remaining game and stay on 39 points? Surely you are more intelligent than that? For your own sake I hope you are on a pointless windup rather than actually believe it! Although as you repeat this nonsense every single year that in itself is also a concern. Do you get a kick out of bites you get? Like the one I've just given you. Just give it up ffs and be positive in a golden spell for your club.

Has there ever been a closer knit Saints side........
