  1. Osvaldo scores an amazing goal vs Man City, turning Kompany and Zabaleta inside out. Jose Fonte decides this is the best way to celebrate it with him... Come up with a witty caption and you win either Ian "Champagne" McInnes tie or Mick Williams charisma and/or soul...
  2. Help! The inmates are running the asylum!
  3. What a motley amateurish bunch they look.
  4. A flag on a table, some name tags and scarf on some chairs impresses Neil Allen! At the other end of the M27 we have this at the training ground... and this at the stadium...
  5. That is all he is getting, Champions League games. Even that might change as Real Madrid progress in the competition and they may use their first choice. It would be 1st choice in the Premier League for the remainder of the season vs however many games Real Madrid have in the Champions League after Christmas plus sitting on the Real Madrid bench during League game.
  6. All I did is explain why he might want to leave. He is playing second fiddle to Diego Lopez and hasn't played a league game all season. I didn't say if I thought he'd join Saints or not. I bet if you asked people not so long ago if they thought Saints would sign Roma's main striker who is a current Italian international and was 3rd top scorer in Serie A last season they would have laughed. Is signing the 2nd choice keeper from Real Madrid even if only on loan before the World Cup really such a huge unimaginable jump from that?
  7. He might want to leave because he is the Real Madrid 2nd choice keeper and he wants to be ready for a World Cup next summer. He hasn't played a single La Liga game this season and has been only playing in Champions League games.
  8. Reed, Chambers, Shaw, Lallana, Ward-Prowse, Sinclair, Turnbull etc all joined Saints when Rupert Lowe was the chairman. Difference is under Cortese/Liebherr we have the financial resources and can supplement that young academy produced talent with big signings like Lovren, Wanyama, Osvaldo etc and hopefully keep them for longer.
  9. I want the worst team left in the competition and to play them at St Mary's. I want Saints to have the best possible chance of winning the FA Cup, so want the same for every round.
  10. Lallana would get asked by random people all the time for a photo. Do you think he had any idea who this 4th tier player was? He probably thought he was a Saints fan. It is Bradley that asked for the photo and then posted it on social media.
  11. Resistance in the form of sabotage against an oppressive system by taking out communication links, transport, etc etc. Not resorting to murder, torture, land-mine campaigns, bombings etc.
  12. His cause was extremely good, but the media have completely glossed over his dark side. Mandela co-founded a terrorist group that bombed, land-mined, tortured and murdered a lot of people.
  13. He has been playing right back for Saints youth teams since January, they converted him to a new position. He also captains England under 19's whilst playing right back. That is now his position and has been for the last year.
  14. McInnes said there are managers at other clubs that have clauses in contracts where they can leave for no compensation. The Football League won't allow them to pay any transfer fee for players, or compensation for managers until previous football debts have been paid. Evidence of not being allowed by the Football League to spend money on transfers... http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/pompey/catlin-forget-pompey-paying-out-transfer-fees-1-5072403 Evidence of not being allowed by the Football League to spend money on compensation for employed managers at other clubs is towards the end of this interview... http://www.expressfm.com/local/podcasts/the-football-hour-933450/
  15. All the candidates they interviewed had no compensation involved, the Football League won't let them pay compensation for a manager. Iain McInnes admitted as much in a recent radio interview.
  16. I'd imagine it would scare the **** out of most kids. Imagine how the opposing teams keeper felt playing infront of that!
  17. Billy Sharp has never scored in a top flight match. So what "scoring record" are you using to compare him with Oswaldo (a current Italian international and 3rd top scorer in Serie A last season)?
  18. It is someone getting their kicks and giggles pretending to be me. Simple things, please simple minds. Grow up.
  19. How do Tottenham benefit from losing their 2nd choice keeper? They'd then weaken their own match day squad and help a rival team.
  20. Yep, its at the Premier League board's discretion if they let us bring in another keeper or not.
  21. Why would Spurs loan out their second choice keeper? They need a sub keeper themselves.
  22. He joined Middlesbrough 3 days ago... http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/25143739

  24. No it doesn't. Potts, Carson and Marquis have "transfer dates" next to them but all three were loans. Their chief executive has confirmed they can't spend money on transfers... http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/pompey/catlin-forget-pompey-paying-out-transfer-fees-1-5072403 Plus their chairman confirms they can't pay compensation for a manager in this interview... http://www.expressfm.com/local/podcasts/the-football-hour-933450/
