  1. The evolution of Everton crests from 1878 to 2013. The current crest has only been in existence since 2000. New crest unveiled for next season onwards... http://www.evertonfc.com/news/archive/2013/05/25/evolution-of-the-everton-crest
  2. Doesn't appear to be a problem for Everton...
  3. Shouldn't his children be in school rather than on a long family holiday in May?
  4. That still isn't conclusive... Wednesday morning - Cortese walks into St Mary's and is spotted by security guard Wednesday lunchtime - Cortese leaves St Mary's and is spotted by security guard Wednesday afternoon - Cortese flies to Italy to have talks with an Italian club Thursday morning - Cortese flies back to England Thursday lunchtime - Cortese arrives at St Mary's and is spotted by security guard Thursday evening - Security guard tells Kingsland Red that Cortese has "been around all week".
  5. How can you say that without knowing the full details of his injury record? Shaw has missed some matches for club/country through illness, catching a virus doesn't make him "injury prone". He's also had a couple of injuries, but without knowing the full details you can't call him injury prone. If for example someone does a reckless tackle on you in training and you get injured that doesn't mean by default you prone to such injuries.
  6. Shaw has missed some matches for club/country through illness, that doesn't make him "injury prone". Nor do we know the full background behind his previous injuries, just because a player has a few injuries that doesn't mean he is injury prone. In any case, not sure why that means he should be sold. And now with Shaw, we have Premier League status and seemingly a rich and very ambitious owner and chairman. Even if the club has more than enough funding to push forwards by keeping Shaw and bringing other players?
  7. Can you expand on that some more? Just seeing Cortese at St Mary's last night doesn't mean he wasn't in Italy earlier in the week. Did he or someone else tell you he wasn't in Italy this week or that he was doing something else?
  8. Is £10m really "ridiculous" for Luke Shaw? I think that seriously undervalues him. Did you think the same when we sold Bale for a package potentially worth upto £10m? I think Shaw looks better than Bale did at the same age for us.
  9. Take that up with Opta, I was just explaining what they've done.
  10. Not on away goals it wouldn't. Saints would get the win.
  11. Away goals rule means it would be Saints beating Stoke and losing to Fulham.
  12. This is the only link I can find between Saints and Osvaldo, it is a flimsy source to say the least! http://www.tribalfootball.com/articles/tottenham-southampton-alerted-roma-invite-osvaldo-offers-3812221#.UZ4XheB4WmR
  13. Page 180 of the Premier League 2012/13 rulebook... http://www.premierleague.com/content/dam/premierleague/site-content/News/publications/handbooks/premier-league-handbook-2012-2013.pdf
  14. Ok then... Those that hadn't seen Lambert play might have said he wouldn't be upto the Premier League, anyone that saw him regularly in the Championship and knows their football could see that he would be. Better?
  15. Really? I've been impressed from the brief cameos we've seen of him and I think he'll be used a lot more next season.
  16. Those that hadn't seen Lambert play might have said he wouldn't be upto the Premier League, anyone that saw him regularly in the Championship could see that he would be. Hammond on the other hand simply isn't good enough for the Premier League at the level Saints would want. Cork, Schneiderlin, Davis and Ward-Prowse are all ahead of him in the pecking order and Saints have other young central midfielders coming through.
  17. I think he knows what he is trying to achieve, just never manages to do it.
  18. It is one of a number of factors, affluance of the catchment area would be another. Saints' prices are above most midland and northern Premier League clubs but are still below that of most London Premier League clubs. That makes sense does it not? London is the most affluent place in the country, then the surrounding counties in the south east, then the rest. If Cortese really does have the funding to turn Saints into a top 7, top 6 or even better club then it makes business sense to align prices based on such factors.
  19. There is a big difference between an aimless hoof up the pitch and a good long pass either to the man or into space for someone to run onto. Something stats like this don't take into consideration.
  20. Better team = Higher ticket price Let's hope they justify it with a good summer transfer window.
  21. He simply isn't good enough for what Saints needed this season and going forward into next season. Which is why he's out on loan aged 30 to a good Championship club, that is his level.
  22. Asks to see his birth certificate?
  23. Have you both considered getting one, going to all the games you can and giving the ticket to friends/family when you can't go?
  24. I don't think many would either, but you could sit in block 9 or 5 of the Itchen, have good central(ish) views and under 11 tickets would cost £215 new and £194 to renew.
