  1. Former Chelsea under 16 left back Joshua Debayo has been given a scholarship & will be in Jason Dodd's under 18 team next season. New 1st year scholars... Joshua Debayo Niall Mason George Mells Josh Sims Kyle Clinton Harry Isted Will Wood Daniel Demkiv Carel Kayembe
  2. Still Danny Fox at the moment. Even Clyne would probably be ahead of Targett in the pecking order for left back cover if we get another right back.
  3. That is what they said in the early Saints Player videos last year. Looks like they might have too much to do to get the main pavilion building finished in under a month but other buildings on the site (academy, security hut, groundsman building and spectator stands), pitches and landscaping may be ready for when the players come back.
  4. I'd like to see 1885 somewhere on the badge.
  5. I quite like the new Crystal Palace badge this summer compared to the one it replaces. Shows it is possible to keep many of the key elements of old badges and modernise them. Same could be done with... The Palace eagle badges are from the 1970's when Malcom Allison arrived as manager in 1973 and totally rebranded the club. He changed the shirt colours to red and blue stripes and introduced the Eagles nickname. The Saints badge is also a relic of the 1970's and could do with some modern styling.
  6. Clubs alter their badges all the time, every club in England has made numerous changes over the years. Just two examples of badge changes this summer. Bolton Wanderers badge from 2002 to 2013... New Bolton Wanderers badge from 2013 onwards... Crystal Palace's badge history... From 2013/14 onwards...
  7. Bolton Wanderers badge from 2002 to 2013... New Bolton Wanderers badge from 2013 onwards...
  8. Thats something for the photoshop experts to cobble together!
  9. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2336872/Nigel-Adkins-cheesy-message-Reading-supporters.html It is likely to be a reference to this which the Daily Mail overlooks... http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/see-heartwarming-message-sacked-nigel-1544926 Even though Adkins didn't actually write the message and it was from before he was sacked.
  10. Wooden facade now going up...
  11. I've already listened to it on Talksport listen again service. Not a great deal of detail given.
  12. His CA is a long way below Ramirez in FM 13.3.0 Ramirez 145 Bueno 118
  13. At roughly what time was it discussed?
  14. Yes it does, it says he's scored goals for Nacional (his club). Remember also Wiki isn't a good source unless it gives a reference as it can be edited by anyone in the world. Plus you can see lots of his goals for his club in the youtube videos.
  15. Pompey comedy goldmine alert...! http://www.portsmouthfc.co.uk/LatestNews/news/Pompey-Partner-With-TJ-Waste-4418.aspx
  16. Linked with Saber Khelifa... http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11700/8758155/?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter
  17. Shirley High Street?
  18. Rickie Lambert makes it 4-0 to Saints... "Kelvin whats the score? Kelvin, Kelvin whats the score?" "Kelvin Davis, he can't ****ing count!"
  19. The Football League would never agree to such a move. The lower tiers of English football are stronger than any other country, we have professional teams in the 5th tier getting gates of nearly 6k! That would be unheard of anywhere else in the world. The Football League wouldn't welcome large numbers of B teams of Premier League clubs taking up space in the league system, plus it would actually be hard for any B side to compete with some of the large Football League sides in the same way they do in Spain for example.
  20. Not sure that really counts.
  21. Why? He has been playing at right back for Saints and England for quite a while now.
  22. A little off topic but...
  23. It will be alot higher than that, the youtube view count takes a while to catch up. I tweeted your video and lots of people have retweeted me so lots of Saints fans will have seen it now.
  24. I just noticed the9 took the photos whilst stood at the St Mary's ticket office. Must have got some odd looks from the ticket office staff!
  25. The standards of coaching set within the Football Development Support Centre at Staplewood are applied at national level. Saints were one of three clubs in Europe used to demonstrate the techniques put into practice at the club's training ground, with these set to be implemented at the FA's new National Football Centre in Burton. So pretty much every other club in England follows what Saints do at an academy level!
