Should we rename St Mary's to The Liebherr Arena?
Matthew Le God replied to The Fat Controller's topic in The Saints
Naming the new pavilion building at the training ground "the Markus Liebherr pavilion" would be a better idea. -

For those that think we won't put out a strong team, look what Pochettino did in the last round... 01 Davis 02 Clyne 23 Shaw 18 Cork 26 Hooiveld (Fonte - 79' ) 03 Yoshida 16 Ward-Prowse 04 Schneiderlin 07 Lambert (Rodriguez - 35' ) 08 Davis 10 Ramírez (Lallana - 59' ) Substitutes 06 Fonte 09 Rodriguez 20 Lallana 22 Chambers 25 Gazzaniga 38 Reed 40 Gallagher Plus we now have Boruc, Osvaldo and Wanyama back. But Lovren and Ramiez injured.

Maybe a nonsense theory but... perhaps they want to announce it closer to 6pm to be headline news on SSN for maximum PR impact as breaking news.

Sims has barely played for the under 21's (1 start and 1 sub appearance) and you want to skip him straight to the first team? He is still an under 18 player looking to break into the under 21's with Sinclair, Isgrove, Rowe all ahead of him at the moment. People haven't heard much about Isgrove recently because he has only recently returned from an injury.

You didn't answer my question. You've also bizarrely added a word "organic" to the Tweet trousers posted. Why?

She's owned the club since 2010 and we've seen over £70m spent on players and £30m on infrastructure since then and also used youth players. What kind of growth is that?

John Williams set to take Southampton chief executive role... http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/25804054 Is it all an elaborate plan to get referees on our side after the Lallana/Clattenburg fiasco?

Contract extension offer for Pochettino says Alex Crook in tomorrow's Daily Star... -
On what subject, for what purpose and through what method of communication?

Those are odds to be relegated, not to stay up. Seems BETVictor are the only bookies to have that market at the moment. Pompey are 1/20 to stay up so not really worth a bet. http://www.bookies.com/football/england/league-two/to-stay-up/

Adam Blackmore @bigadamsport8h I'm informed that Cortese-Chinese consortium #saintsfc takeover story is well wide of the mark FM Saints Researcher@MatthewLeGod2m @bigadamsport If a bid hadn't gone in but Wanda planned to in the future how would your contact know? All they'd do is deny a takeover today Adam Blackmore @bigadamsport1m @MatthewLeGod correct, you're right FM Saints Researcher @MatthewLeGod52s @bigadamsport I'm not saying the Mirror are right. But your contact doesn't appear to have told you anything that denies the Mirror story. So he doesn't actually have evidence it is "well wide of the mark" and he agrees with me as such. It may well be well wide of the mark, but he doesn't have any evidence for that.
-
Put yourself in Cortese's place, how would you feel if Blackmore phoned you up on the Sunday morning after you left the club because he was curious about a newspaper story? Would you even take the call, let alone give him an answer to the question? And yet you think that is more plausible than Blackmore contacting one of the media department he regularly sees, follows on Twitter and would have the work email for. I'm very tempted to add you to my ignore list along with Turkish. Bizarre argumentative viewpoints combined with petty personal insults. Yep, thats sorted, I won't be conversing with you anymore. Carry on peeps. Back to the takeover talk...

He is a local radio presenter, any dealings he had with Cortese were rare (I think he only had one interview with him) and would be arranged through the club. His interactions with the club will be all through the media department. Blackmore did one interview with Cortese in 2010, that would most likely be arranged through his PA, not Cortese giving out his home and mobile number to Blackmore for him to ring him on Sunday mornings after he's left the club. In the case of a matchday radio presenter for Radio Solent, yes I do. Have you listened to Radio Solent on matchdays? They know nothing other than want the media department want to tell them.
