From what I remember of it, there was a player unmarked in the middle of the goal because the centre backs were out of position. A player unmarked directly infront of goal is more of a threat than one on the far post. You can't blame Shaw for it, he did the right thing by reducing the main threat and is not his fault the player on the back post wasn't picked up.

He went into the middle because that is where the main threat was, as Seaborne was out of position. Very harsh to blame Shaw for that!

It was Calum Chambers. The MUTV commentator had Chambers and Curtis mixed up all game (as he did with lots of other Southampton "facts").
