Harry Redknapp to be named manager within 3 weeks
Matthew Le God replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
If someone is unavailable, then it isn't realistic. This really is basic stuff. -

Why is it boring? You wrote something that is an oxymoron. -
Not necessarily, it is entirely dependant on the qualities of the 17 year old in question.

That using those 6 games from last season to judge how Saturday's game will pan out is pointless.

Well if they are unavailable then they aren't realistic by definition. "Realistic unavailable targets" is an oxymoron. -

By "available" I guess you mean out of work, but why do they have to be out of work? Adkins was employed in the Championship when we hired him as a League One club. -
And in none of those games did we have Ramirez, Mayuka, Rodriguez, Clyne, Yoshida, S. Davis, Gazzaniga, Shaw, Ward-Prowse or Boruc, so you really can't take much from them.

Matthew Le God replied to Dibden Purlieu Saint's topic in The Saints
Why do our January signings have to be "free and low wages", experience is one thing but the players you listed simply aren't any better than we already have. A number of them aren't even "free" anymore having already been signed up by other clubs and many of them have poor injury records. -
Why is our website the same as Barnsley?
Matthew Le God replied to Horton Heath Saint's topic in The Saints
On what is that statement based? Saints have been tied to a long term contract (that predates the Liebherr/Cortese takeover) for the website that numerous other club's use. I'd imagine Cortese would want to create the club's own unique site if he could, but the club can't until the contract ends. -
Alternatively, Saints are only 6 points behind Liverpool in the Premier League. Compare that with the summer of 2009.

It is 8 points from safety... 18th Oldham 17 points 19th Coventry 17 points 20th S****horpe 16 points .................................... 21st Bury 15 points 22nd Shrewsbury 14 points 23rd Portsmouth 8 points 24th Hartlepool 8 points

Have you considered that doesn't make for an interesting story to sell papers?

Not unreasonable to question credibility if they have shown they can't even get the basics right, such as the chairman's gender. It says it is based on the 2010/11 accounts. This explains them, the interview is an interesting listen... http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/17547804 The loan we know little about was in September 2012 and isn't covered by this website Pompey fans are getting all excited about on POL and Twitter.

Hard to take the research of any website seriously that thinks Nicola Cortese is a woman.

If Hartlepool get a point tonight, Pompey are effectively bottom of League One with their points deduction when they exit admin by diluting a failed CVA with a new CVA.

The lenient (compared to Bournemouth and Rotherham's -17 points) -10 points the Football League announced they will get as soon as they leave administration by diluting the failed 2010 CVA with a new CVA. -

A point or more for Hartlepool tonight would mean for all intents and purposes Pompey are bottom of League One after 16 game with their impending points deduction as soon as they leave administration. -
The directors are... Nicola Cortese Les Reed Brendan McGlinchey Gareth Rogers

They should be grateful it is only -10 points this season when they exist administration having diluted a failed CVA. If the Football League were consistent they'd be giving Pompey -19 points in line with the -17 points Bournemouth and Rotherham got for failing to agree a CVA (-15 for the failure for Rotherham and Bournemouth to agree a CVA and -2 for it being both club's 2nd admin). Pompey agreed a CVA, failed to make payments and then diluted it which is just as bad if not worse, plus it was Pompey's 3rd admin so should be at the very least -19 points (-15 for dilution of failed CVA and -4 for 3rd admin). Instead Pompey fans, the trust and employees have the cheek to think the Football League are being harsh on them and because it is the trust taking over the deduction shouldn't happen. When in fact the -10 is very lenient and the Football League haven't given explanation why it isn't consistent with the Bournemouth and Rotherham -17 points deductions.

When the points come off they are 6 points from safety, not 8. 20th Shrewsbury 14 points ............................... 21st S****horpe 13 points 22nd Bury 12 points 23rd Portsmouth 8 points 24th Hartlepool 8 points
