  1. Wolves managed to knock down an entire stand in May and had people watching games in the lower tier of the new stand in September of the same year whilst work progressed on finishing the upper tier and rest of the stand.
  2. The outside... All looks a lot more professional than ever before.
  3. Players back in training on the 28th June, Nigel Adkins says he would like to think there will one or two additions before that date (said with a huge grin on his face). So the next 10 days will be interesting...
  4. Lennon and Adkins pretty much confirmed the bids went in.
  5. http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/pompey/pompey-past/pompey-s-2012-13-fixtures-south-coast-derby-first-up-1-3962693 "Pompey will start their League One campaign with a mouthwatering south coast derby clash against Bournemouth."
  6. Ryan Babel... http://www.caughtoffside.com/2012/06/18/southampton-keen-on-former-liverpool-flop-ryan-babel/
  7. It is random, so no-one else will.
  8. Yep, things have moved on a long way in the 11 years since 2001 when the current ones were installed. For a start it will be in HD.
  9. We should aim to beat this... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IjXXYVLA9Pk
  10. As I said in the opening post, it is on page 12 of the document, where it says... Big Screen Advertising New LED screens for 2012/13 season.
  11. It is on the OS under the commercial tab > sponsorship It isn't for season ticket holders, it is to attract corporate sponsorship and ticket sales in the Premier League.
  12. It was not officially announced before, so the 15k was only people guessing and they weren't far out.
  13. Round two of Adkins vs Mancini
  14. I didn't say it was the best did I? It is above average though in the Premier League and has a number of features better than some of the really big clubs. At a £15 million cost, you would expect that, thats £15 million without the cost of the land or the existing training dome structure.
  15. You said... In any case, the screens are now 11 years old, the changing rooms were 10 years old when they were done, the corporate facilities needed a face lift for Premier League corporate of 2012 compared to the last time we were in the league, Staplewood had fallen behind a number of clubs etc etc. Cortese is doing what needs to be done for us to compete against Premier League rivals.
  16. The Staplewood development goes over and beyond merely "the standard for the Premier League".
  17. I'm amazed Turkish has overlooked the final line of the opening post.
  18. Well that is true today, currently trending in the UK on Twitter and earlier today was trending worldwide.
  19. Not exactly earth shattering news, the old one were starting to show their age and technology has moved on since they were installed in 2001. See page 12 of the document below... http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/staticFiles/88/b4/0,,10280~177288,00.pdf A few interesting lines in that document, such as - official confirmation of there being over 180,000 individuals on the Saints database (page 6).
  20. Saints are always paired with Pompey in the fixtures. It doesn't matter that they aren't in the same league as us, they want to make sure we don't both play at home on the same day.
  21. A Saints youth team player has just Tweeted this... Omar Rowe ‏@Omar_rowe Saints vs Arsenal 3rd game of the season at St Marys. #SaintsFC
  22. The fixture list isn't purely random, so you can't strictly look at it through probability.
