Portsmouth Owners Go Into Administration
Matthew Le God replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
He didn't really have mush of a case then, as Pompey were in the Premier League and Saints were in the Football League, two different governing bodies. He might this time though... -

The "proposed rule" states "two admins in a three year period" as a company, not "two admins whilst a Football League Club". -
What makes you think any improvement to St Mary's wouldn't make it better? There is even talk of a completely new stadium being built rather than just an expansion. Whilst in the Premier League Saints averaged over 30k in every season at St Mary's (including the relegation season). They sold out games against both the larger and smaller Premier League clubs on a regular basis. We have even had sell outs whilst in the Championship and League One.

Where did the money for Huseklupp, Varney, Norris etc in the summer for either big fees and/or big wages come from? Plus they still have others on huge wages like Ben Haim, Kitson, Lawrence etc. David Lampitt stated recently they were they were the second highest net spenders in the summer transfer window. How did they manage to fund that and continue to fund that wage bill and the CVA that is yet to start?

I think it was passed though.

The league rules make no mention that it has to be whilst a Football League club, just that two administrations as a company within a 3 year period. -

Toast time I think... "A club going into administration twice in three years would have their membership of the League withdrawn" http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/2973263.stm I hope the journalists writing articles are made aware of this!

It does matter, because I think most people here (or even in the country) would consider QPR to have a smaller fanbase than Saints. If QPR then think they can justify a 45k stadium, it shows it is perhaps not unreasonable to think Saints could as well.
-
The QPR owner thinks they need a 40 to 45k stadium.... http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/15919454.stm

No, it is the Millwall/Palace game that the foreign TV cameras are at.

Swansea, unlike Spurs and Arsenal may not have been in a financial position at the time to free up funds for Saints to cash in early on clauses.
-
What makes you think that? It is pretty much standard practice for all transfers of young players in English football to include sell on clauses.

Because only a crook would want to take on the mess of another crook and they are caught in an endless cycle since Manadaric in the late 1990's.. Any legitimate investor would put Pompey low down on a list of clubs to buy. -
Lukas Jutkiewicz.... is he worth signing?
Matthew Le God replied to david in sweden's topic in The Saints
He is in the starting XI for Coventry tonight vs Cardiff City. -
It isn't meant to be St Mary's. It is a new stadium designed by a Saints fan on Google Sketch Up.
-
If it isn't more than at Hillsborough then it shouldn't be built.

Any further news Saint Garrett?

What is your definition of "whites"?

His paternal grandfather is from Sierra Leone. Everyone in the world has genes from all over the place, it is impossible to classify people into "races" accurately.
