  1. 1) Do you believe only humans have ghosts? If so, where do you draw the line between humans and their ancestors and relations in the animal kingdom throughout history? 2) On what evidence do you base your guess of ghosts being in parallel dimensions? 3) Why do you think ghosts being real is the more likely explanation of your "experience with a ghost" as opposed to your mind or something/someone else playing tricks on you?
  2. I am led to believe he is on a £1m a year salary at a Championship club. I think he will be first choice, don't you?
  3. Read the whole thread, the details from Twitter are corroborated and expanded on by someone claiming to have also gone.
  4. http://www.fansnetwork.co.uk/football/southampton/fb_mb.php?m=v&t=35591#89 Read the whole thread, not just the opening posts.
  5. But yet you claimed people in this thread had said we do, when no-one has. So it isn't me "spouting drivel"...
  6. Yep, was only a quick guess. I went to both games as well, but too long ago to remember who played in each of them off the time of my head!
  7. Yes. For example Brentford got a 20% sell on clause for Ryan Dickson in his tribunal... http://www.brentfordfc.co.uk/page/LatestNews/0,,10421~2108883,00.html
  8. Belgium
  9. Again, not relevant as that isn't the same as saying as you did... "if you think we know all the answers to everything now, you are seriously deluded people" No-one has said that. Where do you draw the line? Do you believe in fairies, leprechauns, unicorns, flying spaghetti monsters etc?
  10. Before you criticise me again for pointing this out, you were the one that made the wild and unjustified comment and this is a forum intended for debate and differing viewpoints. All I did was outline why I disagreed with you, I think you are in a tiny minority if you think that team would "do okay in the Premier League".
  11. It wouldn't even do "okay", it would be terrible and massacred every week. Although Bale, Walcott, Best, Dyer and Lallana are good players, they can't make up for a number of non league players in the other positions.
  12. Why is that a bore? As The9 says above, it is of more use than your wild claims that the team is Premier League standard. What were you basing that on? Many of the players are currently playing at a very low level or have left the profession completely. Only four are currently playing in the Premier League, of the others only Lallana is likely to reach that level, so that is five out of sixteen.
  13. How is that relevant? These people didn't use scientific method to draw such conclusions. They weren't true "scientists". In any case no-one here has claimed that "science knows the answers to everything now". There is no credible peer reviewed scientific paper proving the existence of ghosts.
  14. No it wouldn't! These are all miles away from Premier League standard... Andrew McNeil Craig Richards Sean Rudd Sebastian Wallis-Tayler Feliciano Condesso Josh Dutton-Black Ashlee Jones These are doing relatively well but doubt they will ever be Premier League standard... David McGoldrick Tim Sparv Martin Cranie Lloyd James These are the only ones currently in the Premier League... Theo Walcott Nathan Dyer Leon Best Gareth Bale And finally a player who will at some point be a Premier League player... Adam Lallana
  15. 2005/06 FA Academy League Final
  16. - Last season the team that finished 17th (Barnsley) had 56 points after 46 games. - Currently Saints have 12 from 5 games. So you think Saints will only pick up roughly 44 points from the remaining 41 games? Based on last seasons 17th placed team's record, that would be something like... Play 41 Win 10 Draw 14 Lose 17 I think you are being extremely pessimistic if you think that is how the next 41 League games will go for Saints!
  17. I didn't say it was, however it is an clear indication that he is highly valued by the management. Championship clubs simply don't spend that amount on players they intend to be back up fullbacks, nor would Fox have joined if that were the case.
  18. Saints haven't spent £1.8m on a left back as a Championship club for him not to be first choice. Fox will be starting very soon imo.
  19. Jack Cork has played in the Premier League and had a very good season in the Championship. Lallana was in the Championship three years ago and had two very good years in League One, he didn't exactly stand out in the Championship back then. He needs to have a good season in order to catch up with Cork. I can't rate players for a game starting in July 2011, based on what you may think he will do by May 2012. I'm in no way saying I don't think Lallana is a good player for this League, I think he will prove to be one of the best players in it by the end of the season. But that is the key point, he has to prove/justify a rating beforehand. His high potential ability gives him room to do that as you progress through your first season managing Saints.
  20. How is it a year behind? The game starts with you taking over a club in early July 2011, so his rating reflects him at that point. As of July 2011 in real life, he hadn't proven himself to be a top Championship player. He does however have a high potential rating, so he will improve as the season and your savegame progresses.
  21. What strange logic that is.
  22. Last forum activity for the opening poster was yesterday at 11:13 AM. So he has had the opportunity to update us. But chose not to...(so far)
  23. That was as a League One player, Saints have since been promoted and Lambert signed a new 3 year deal this summer.
  24. I have a source that believes Fox is on around £20k p/w If that is true, £25k p/w for Lallana may well be correct.
