  1. I get... Website Offline, No Cached Version Available The website you are trying to access is currently offline. The most likely causes are the server is down for maintenance, there may be a network problem, or the site may be experiencing excessive load.
  2. I want to hear the Northam sing that live on Sky next Monday vs Leicester.
  3. That link doesn't work.
  4. "You's" The Rab C Nesbitt video I posted earlier is clearly quite accurate.
  5. So are Saints in a mere 3 1/2 months time.
  6. After 26 games in the Championship last season Norwich City were 4th with 44 points, 42 goals scored GD of +8. Saints after 26 games are 1st with 50 points, 50 goals scored GD of +22. You doth complain too much Mr Dalek and make very bad comparisons. Go and watch the video I showed you again, it might cheer you up.
  7. Glad to make you happy for once! I hope Saints will make you happy when they sign Hooper. Bit of Trivia - Craig Ferguson played Confidence in Series One of Red Dwarf episode "Confidence and Paranoia". Quite apt for this forum!
  8. I look forward to the first Celtic fan that pays the £5 subscription so he can have more than 3 posts per day.
  9. Which song? I suggest this from 1 minute 50 seconds in... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WAaVx3cDfkc#t=1m50s
  10. Wow! Is that English? After a full stop or comma you should leave a gap. Like the one I just did, go back and have a look at the gap. Breaks things up nicely with a pause for breath. Capital letters are nice AsWeLL, although only if they are in the correct place.
  11. Unlike in 24, when the "Admin Andy Pompey takeover timer" runs out it resets to 48 hours.
  12. Sweater neighbour...? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xdnk0DGaN8E
  13. Joseph Cala - "Without these eight players the club is healthy, in fact it would be profitable." So the parent company CSI is in admin, North One doesn't have the World Rally rights and Joseph Cala admits Pompey isn't healthy and isn't profitable. Admin Andy keeps saying they need money to see out the season now that Antonov isn't pumping stolen cash from Lithuanian/Latvian bank customers to fund transfer sprees and the wage bill. Has anyone emailed the Football League asking them why they even need bother investigating if a points deduction is needed? Admin Andy, David Lampitt, Joseph Cala, Chris Akers and others connected have all but admitted the club are screwed financially now the parent company has gone under.
  14. I hope Pompey don't get screwed with 20% of money owed in a CVA for PFCTV...
  15. - Cork was struggling to get a look in at Chelsea. - Lambert was the star player for a small League One club. - Chaplow was out of favour at Preston who were in financial trouble and looking to reduce the wage bill. None of them were ever going to cost that much. Gary Hooper on the other hand is a proven Championship scorer and now is top scorer in an admittedly poor Scottish League but plays is a key player for Celtic. It is no surprise he would command a hefty fee, as would any other player with his background.
  16. You are forgetting Hooper is already proven in the Championship, Rhodes isn't. Hooper aged 21 was the Championship's 3rd top scorer in 2009/10 whilst at a struggling S****horpe side. It was a great season in the Championship that got him his move to Celtic in the first place! Hooper also has goals in Europe against some good sides. That isn't to say Rhodes wouldn't be a good signing.
  17. So did Gary Lineker.
  18. How do you think he was able to get in the position to be able to score those "tap ins"? Answer - A bit of pace and a great footballing brain.
  19. 1 goal vs Udinese - Currently 3rd in Serie A 1 goal vs Braga - Currently 3rd in Portugal and that season they ended up runners up in the EUROPA League 1 goal vs Rennes - Currently 5th in the French top league Plus aged 21 he was the Championship's 3rd top scorer in his last season before he left for Celtic. In 2009/10 he scored 19 Championship goals for a struggling S****horpe side. Which is more than Andy Carroll scored for Championship winners Newcastle United...!
  20. I'd imagine as that is Markus' brother and sister's company, it has little to do with Saints.
  21. Wednesday 18th January and two tabloids are reporting Southampton to bid between £3.5m and £4m for Jordan Rhodes... http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/4068063/Southampton-in-4million-Jordan-Rhodes-bid.html http://www.dailystar.co.uk/football/view/230798 Also today, the Daily Mail believes Saints will make a final £6.5m offer for Gary Hooper and improve his current £14k p/w at Celtic to £25k p/w. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2088075/Celtic-want-sign-Jaroslaw-Fojut-early.html#ixzz1jlYGoymP If true it "seems" like Rhodes might be the back up if Celtic refuse the bid for Hooper. Nice to see Saints look to be shopping from a very high quality shopping list!
  22. I see your John Cleese in Monty Python and raise you... Supergran! Can't get much more Scottish than that!
  23. I didn't say that at all. Race is a human created classification of something that cannot be clearly classified. So yes, the KKK are racist. What will you say to them? It is hardly groundbreaking news. I think this is wandering off on a tangent more suited to the lounge forum...
  24. You can cover most problems easily with 4 outfield subs. One defender, one defensive midfielder, two attack minded players. In the past you had to cope with 0/1/2/3 subs in total let alone 5 or 7!
  25. Give us the position he plays in primarily. You said you didn't want to name him, but stating his position surely doesn't matter, especially if their are other clubs already "sniffing around". I'm sure you could even give his name now as you have just disclosed other clubs are aware, plus I'm sure his agent would be hawking him about. You talked yourself into that!
