Correct. We should have sold Arsmtrong this summer. But we didn't and are now heading back to a league where he is prolific. So it makes sense to keep him for a promotion campaign and then sell him if that is achieved as he is out of his depth in the PL.

He is completely out of his depth in the Premier League, but we don't need him to be good enough for the Premier League next season. Why sell a player capable of scoring 24 Championship goals when you are going to be playing in the Championship? The time to sell him is not this season, it is after any potential future promotion.

The issue is not his ability, like @Lighthouse mentioned. The issue is his injury record. In ability he is at the very least a Championship level player. If he is fit enough to play non league games he is fit enough to play Championship games. Your thinking is flawed.
