The Coventry vs Leicester "derby" at 12:30 is the other TV game that weekend for the Football League. Possibly could also be a Friday night game, like there was last season. -

You did dream it, because that game was a 3pm kickoff and not on Sky. -

No St Mary's multi ball system in 2011/12

Why? Are you a ball assistant? -
Is there a website that you used to do this automatically?

He is a Liverpool player going on loan to Pompey or Wolves. He will get paid the same amount (his Liverpool wage) whichever club he goes to, with Liverpool making up the difference if needed. He may prefer Pompey because he might get more game time.
-
Saints haven't let him go. Saints also offered Gobern a contract and he turned Saints down and choose Huddersfield as a better option for his long term career. Probably because he is more likely to get a game and be higher up the pecking order. Saints haven't sold any players this summer. Gobern is out of contract in 10 days time, others like Pulis etc haven't been offered new deals.

Adam Lallana wouldn't have been an "overage plater". He was young enough to play in the Euro's. If you are under 21 when the qualifying campaign starts, you can play in the finals, even if you are 22 or 23. You are getting confused with the Olympic football competition where it is an under 23 competition and you can have 3 overaged players (hence why David Beckham has volunteered himself to play).

What if the halo was yellow? Would that look better?
-
Odd he played for Liverpool, as he only played for them twice in 2004.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2004904/West-Ham-swoop-Chelseas-Jack-Cork.html? Hard to believe a journalist that doesn't know how to use "there" and "their" correctly.

Will he give the ball assistants more or less abuse now? -

They don't allow it at the moment anyway. -
Yep, that.

Did you miss his goal in the Brentford game to make it 3-1 in the 91st minute?
-
Why not describe it like that? For example what does Chelsea's Cobham have, that Staplewood won't have when construction is complete? Man City, Chelsea and Saints at the moment are the only clubs to meet the criteria for a category one academy. Training facilities play a key part of that criteria.

Not entirely sure making a cartoon of the deceased is appropriate.

The club this season will benefit from higher home crowds, much higher away crowds, higher sponsorship and advertising along with around £3-4 million extra in terms of TV money. Of course this is countered with higher costs, particularly with wage rises, but some will be freed up for player deals.
-
Under the new UEFA rules, owners will be allowed to invest £40 million over a three year rolling period as long as it is equity rather than loans. The Football League have yet to set their "level" for this. Investment in stadiums/academies/training grounds are exempt from the Football League break even rules.

...or indeed anywhere in the Football League after clubs voted against it at the AGM in Cyprus. Due to "home clubs taking advantage of it" according to the chairman of one club.

Championship fixtures released - Leeds at home first

Nope, there are three rounds of qualifying before they enter. -
Had those players not been sold the financial situation would have been even worse.

If Birmingham win their Europa League Playoff on 18th/25th August, then the Saints vs Birmingham game on the 17th September will be moved to Sunday 18th September as the group stages start on Thursday 15th. -
And Cortese, Adkins and Friis-Hansen have all indicated that to be the case. It is now just a matter of watching it unfold over the next two and half months, rather than panicking about it when we don't know what they are doing behind the scenes with such a long time still left. If money was that desperate it would be hard to convince Lallana, Fonte and Chamberlain of the clubs ambitions for them to be here long term. All three are still here at the moment, Lallana wouldn't have extended his contract, Chamberlain may well have been sold by now and Fonte wouldn't have dropped a league and signed in the first place.
