  1. Lots of Lallana songs then tomorrow.
  2. YES!!! Well done Adam, Nigel, Nicola etc. Best signing Saints could make this January.
  3. Oh, Vienna!
  4. Nope, there are transfer windows for free transfers. They are longer than the normal windows, but they still can't register to play during certain times of the year. 3rd Thursday in November until 1st of January for example.
  5. He is pretty much gone, based on what he says in this... http://audioboo.fm/boos/250191-afcb-eddie-howe-talking-to-bbc-radio-solent-this-morning
  6. You will struggle to find any professional club that doesn't have a transfer policy that involves numerous people on a committee. Head scout, manager, coaching staff, chairman, director of football etc.
  7. He is also packing the subs bench with 2nd year youth team players.
  8. I have a Hungarian phrasebook I can lend you?
  9. "Apparent" long term Saints target, Brian Stock offered a new deal at Doncaster... http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/d/doncaster/9341810.stm
  10. As Colin says, it is the national team... http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/9340811.stm
  11. A very good Exeter fansite. Would be good if either the club or someone independently did something similar for Saints. Has its own weekly show which I've watched to see them preview and review their game with us each time we have played them. http://www.kellowsbootlaces.co.uk/ Click on "watch latest show" to see reaction to the recent Saints vs Exeter game and their interview with Nigel Adkins. Or click on the DVD archive to view old shows like the ones before/after the boxing day game 2009 and in January 2010.
  12. Have you seen where Leeds, Norwich and Millwall are in the Championship? There isn't much of a gap between the leagues. None of the promoted sides altered their sides that much, nor have the spending power of Saints, yet are all in the promotion race halfway through this season.
  13. I think you are confusing the Dagenham highlights with the Exeter highlights.
  14. Or even 3rd and failing in the play off final would probably leave them screwed.
  15. Nick, do your stats include the MK Dons game? Harsh to include that I feel, even though he was technically in charge.
  16. Harding has already played a large number of games at Championship level.
  17. You only need to look at how Leeds, Norwich, Millwall, Jason Puncheon, Simon Gillett and Joseph Mills are doing in the Championship to see there isn't a large gap in quality between the leagues.
  18. Puncheon injured with a dead leg and not playing for Millwall today.
  19. Questions need to be asked if this happens... http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/news/Transfer-news-West-Ham-poised-to-raid-Portsmouth-for-4m-Liam-Lawrence-article662539.html I doubt FIFA would allow it tbh if there really is interest.
  20. Temperatures in London haven't been below freezing (day or night) for many days. Including tonight... http://news.bbc.co.uk/weather/forecast/8 Frost covers would have this easily under control and I see no reason for a pitch inspection.
  21. Not really... Cardiff in the 3rd tier 1999/00 average 6k Cardiff in the 4th tier 1997/98 average 3k Saints are averaging over 22k in the 3rd tier, very few teams in England/Wales would do that.
  22. I think you are going to be bitterly disappointed. The Liebherr's bank account makes Tony Bloom look like a tramp. Brighton fans on North Stand Chat getting giddy that Liebherr's death means a lack of funding, yet the club revealed multi million pound plans for the training ground at the beginning of December. They aren't leaving or dropping funding until after the club is established back in the top half of the top flight...
  23. But as soon as the club get back to the top flight it will have more season ticket holders than the Amex has seats yet again. Brighton don't even sell out a 9,000 stadium at the moment whilst top of the league. Yes the Withdean might be awful, but where are the fans? If the fanbase was really there, they would sell out the Withdean each week like Saints did (at the larger) Dell before moving to a new stadium.
  24. How will he cope with this... Saints in the Premier League had more season ticket holders than the Amex Stadium has seats when finished!
