I visited Southampton yesterday for only about the third time in the last five years, and I was amazed at the decline in the place - I was quite upset to see just how trashy and chav it is becoming (bit like pompey really). Boaded up shops , shops that were upmarket replaced by cheap shops and markets - could be the recession I suppose, but I cant say I have noticed any where else I occasionally visit (including pompey) declining on this scale.

Everybody talks about QPR being one of the richest teams in the world, I don't see it. Just because a club have rich owners does not make the club rich, unless those owners intend to splash the cash like Man City's. On this scale of measurement Cheltenham Town would be one of the richest in league 1 - just relegated to Lg 2!!

They have a turnover of about £70M each season, that wont even make a dent in that debt. Thats without buying anybody!

Absolutely spot on, if ever there was a case of crime pays this is it. Wham are still in the prem picking up 60mil plus each season.The whole scenario would not have happened if the PL(scudamore)had policed the league and punished blatant cheating with straight relegation. Wham gambled on lying about Tevez's status and have picked 60 mil each season since fraudulently!!

It is of no consequence to Sir Rupert whether we take the hit in the CCC or League 1!!

Why does any one think that Lowe who hasnt put a penny into the club, would suddenly do so to buy the club out of admin, even if he had the money? He is only here to try and salvage his investment!

Surely any administrators if unable to sell( Tevezgate) WHam as a whole, would be bound to be looking at any assets ( i.e. players, ground) to flog separately to raise cash. WHam might be worth more piecemeal. So that would have to have an impact on the integrity of the PL
