Slightly off topic I know, anyone else read Germaine Greers column in yesterdays London Evening Standard where it is questioned why anyone would want to lay down the best part of a million quid to buy a flat in such a godforsaken place as portsmouth. The article goes on to quote the time a minister compared an Iraqi city to Southampton only to be corrected by a soldier who said "theres no beer no prostitutes and people are shooting at us. its more like Portsmouth"

I thought were now supposed to be self financing, so I would say it does matter as whatever comes in would be available for reinvestment in the team!
