Whatever gets you through the night. In my day we did with Suzi Quatro, Penelope Keith and Anthea from the Generation Game.

Good luck with squaring that circle! There may well be no second referendum, there may well be no re-entry, but if we have those two conditions then it's a given that we have an austerity budget however you wrap it up.

Pic of Roy with giant headline 'Cod Piece'.

Big ask. New man will do very well if we get either a top 8 finish in the league OR into the last 16 in the Europa (and then finishing comfortably outside relegation 12th-14th). Not sure we can get a top 10 and a EL run from where we are starting from (unless we are appointing Klopp:o).

Looks like all you need now is someone with the balls to actually implement article 50, Cameron's resignation is a bit of a curve ball no? The EU want us out (tomorrow), we are rudderless for 3 or 4 months, and it turns out Boris doesn't really believe in anything beyond Boris; who knew it? Leavers won't be getting £350m a week extra spent on the NHS nor will they be getting reduced immigration but whisper that one quietly (Mash will be gutted), but if we're really lucky we can pay a membership fee, 'that will be £350m a week Sir', and align ourselves with Norway to get back to where we pretty much started from. Genius.

Nathan Redmond Joins on 5 Year Deal - Official

Is this like I'll swap U my AS for UR KD and DS? Redmond is a decent signing, sort of the next Jason Puncheon, plenty of talent, he just needs to be in the right place at the right time and I reckon he will flourish here. He might have to wait for his chances but I can see him being a starter for us once he has found his feet. -
Yeah, but we got rid of CMD and Gidiot didn't we, we'll be able to tell our grandchildren about the day that we really socked it to the man.

Remain hammered in Basildon, not altogether surprising but the margins are ridiculous.

Scottish turnout is lower than RUK. Floods and train chaos in London. Brexit will win, they better have something special up their sleeve.

Transfer window is open. Did you see 'arry leaning out of a Range Rover?

Is that ****ter or is it all your own work? Chapeau to whoever came up with it.

That's a Pompey ST holder for you right there .....

This is going tits rapidly, hopefully Brexit have a plan, winning the war looks like it was the easy bit, hopefully they have some solid plans to win the peace too?

25m plus Ibe, sounds a lot better than plain old 25m. I rate Ibe, reckon HCDAJFU. -
I didn't see much clamour for Andy Carroll before the squad was picked, might as well say we should have taken Dave Beasant in goal to kick it long to him. 2 goals scored in what is one of the easiest groups in the tournament is pretty damning but it's a bit depressing that our only answer seems to be to throw on the big man for the last 10 minutes. I do wonder if we should be playing 3 at the back and in the absence of any decent wide players utilising our strength with the attacking FB options we have. Dier holding, get the Alli/Kane combo firing down the middle which leaves two slots for Rooney/Lallana/Wheelchair (memo to Roy, you can't play 'everybody'). I wouldn't start any pairing of Kane/Sturridge/Vardy, they don't play in a 2 for their clubs, they don't know how to play in a 2 and they mainly look like fish out of water when shunted out onto the wings, or they come into the middle and crowd each other out. We has so many players around the top of their box in the last 20 minutes they were acting more like defenders than attackers - cutting down the space and the passing options for the man with the ball. Please no more Sterling or Henderson, poor selections and taking places that would have been better used by Drinkwater and Townsend. Hodgson's comments today just embarrassing, he might as well have stood on a chair and said we don't know what we're doing. But that's pretty obvious to anyone that has watched the games, this should all have been sorted months ago not scrambling around now for a Plan B. Maybe they should have taken horse face after all.

Here we go ..... https://www.theguardian.com/football/2016/jun/18/whitehall-suspects-kremlin-links-to-russian-euro-2016-hooligans-vladimir-putin

I'd rest Alli and give Wheelchair a go. Push Rooney into the 10 position which gives a pretty tasty front 4 and an extra goal scoring option. Hart Walker Cahill Smalling Bertrand Wheelchair Dier Lallana Rooney Sturridge Vardy

Time we had a bit of Clash back on the PA at St Mary's.

Shocking, it wouldn't at all surprise me if it all comes out that these Russians are in fact, directly or indirectly, some sort of state-funded, para military terrorists.
-
Des Walker must be disappointed he can't get in that back four, Rio would be a shoo-in, with his street shoes on. We really are blessed to watch VVD and Fonte every week.

Agreed, I can hear her now, 'I told you not a penny less than £8m/year, tell'em to stick their £7m/year where the sun don't shine'.... that seems the most obvious reason for the hold up when you look at it like this.
-
That'll be Martin Allen, with the swimming trunks and the river Itchen then. That'll show the modern player.

Not sure about Pelligrini, positives: experience, track record, big name, nice guy, good hair, could attract name players. negatives: his teams seem to play in fits and starts, doesn't appear to be tactically very flexible, could be looking for one last pay day, very expensive, seems to have wasted a vast amount of money at City (tbf he probably doesn't buy the players but would have had some sort of say). Looks like a very non-Saints appointment and he could be a bit of an expensive vanity signing, though would obvs worth every penny if he could push us into the top 4. Seems more like a smoke screen while we smuggle in the usual below the radar appointment.

FdB, Emery and any other good European coach.

1970, 1973, 1980, 1981, 1982, 1984, 1995, 1998, 2001, 2002, 2004, 2015, 2016, complete list of the two seasons Saints have finished above Everton. Oh, hang on, it's 13 times, not 2 times. Two things flicking through those old tables, for a big club Everton have had relatively little success and have indeed steered very close to relegation themselves on quite a few occasions. Flicking through it is also clear how well Moyes did, achieving and then maintaining top 6 finishes over a sustained period of time. Everton are definitely a bigger club though; any club that can spunk £10m-£12m on a manager that might move them up 3 or 4 places in a couple of seasons before he then fecks off to his spiritual home (or even drops back down a level or two if the £££ price is right) have truly earned themselves genuine BigClub bragging rights.
