Good draw, London away at 3.00 on a Saturday. Daggers was one of the best aways I went to last year, I'd love to go if I can get tkts. Millwall not as attractive (understatement!) but a big away end where we will get plenty of tkts and can make plenty of noise. Good chance of winning and perhaps getting another non-Prem team in the 5th round, a decent cup run never hurt anyone. I thought it was a red, if you arrive at the ball with both feet, studs-up, and both legs extended you are potentially in a position to do a lot of damage to the ball carrier; the fact that Nani (?) jumped out the way is irrelevant. It was potentially dangerous and that's what he was sent off for. IMHO of course.

Did an outstanding job in the away play off game at Derby. Also (correctly) called off last year's game at Charlton after being let down by the home team's preparation / groundspeople. So what is the new starting X1? If we are signing 2-3-4 starters (we are only signing players WCDAJFU in the Prem right?) who are the 2-3-4 players they replace? I'm not sure we'll sign any out and out starters in Jan; the 5 year plan is well on track and our full starting X1 is more than capable at this level. More bodies WCDAJFU are clearly what's needed, the bench looks very threadbare at times, I accept this is a pretty poor re-run of RL's failed policies but it makes sense to me. Are we really going to spend 4m-5m-6m on players like Adamoha and Rodriguez (?), totally unproven at prem level; surely when we get up we will need some kitty left for 'proper' Premier league players? Where's McAuley now (West Brom?), a player we coulda, woulda, shoulda signed 5 years ago.
