Shocking today, unbelievable that a player at this level can only kick with one foot! Reading showed him inside every time and he didn't have the capability to do anything with it. Antonio plus another two years development with team-Nige would have been a far better option.
-
Can't remember him in CM much? CM = Viafara, Pele, Belmadi, Idiakez ..... mainly(?) .......... I could be wrong ...... !
-
looking at the OP who is 'wright' in CM? time, tide, and red wine have all interfered with my faculties but I can't place this player. the main diff is Adkins v Burley, not too much in it players-wise?
-
'my son and his new wife' (just to save anybody else having to read it twice or thrice), sorry, no can do with tkts. .
-
Hark now hear, Sarfampton sing The Pompey run away And we will fight for evermore Because of Boxing Day. just saying, like.

-

Anybody go near the Angel of the South before the game? At least 50 men of a certain age who I have never seen home or away were congregating in the morning sun; if that's our firm I am impressed and scared in equal measures - my gaydar was screaming 'skates'. Anybody know what became of them?
-
I was at the back of 38 and it was excellent.
-
Guess the invite said 'formal'?
-

Face value, have them with me today at the game. Post on here or pm me if interested.
-
FAO, Asaint4ever. Do you still want these tickets? I have Pm'ed you my contact details. Please contact me asap; failing that is anybody else interested in 2 Palace tickets, face value? I will have them with me at the game tomorrow.
-

I have 2 spares. Am currently skiing en France but will be travelling back for the P game on Saturday. You will need to collect from me either before the game Sat or at Palace on Monday. PM me on here, I'm not on the internet very much here but I will check for replies at this time tomorrow.

'Shipped via the post'? You mean: torn off the block, put with a cover slip with your name and address on it, put in an envelope, sealed down, hand written 'Pmth' on the top right hand corner, put in a box on a desk at the ticket office for you to collect at your convinience between now and kick off. Why are people persisting in asking if they will be sent out? They weren't ever going to be sent out (for whatever 'reason'), why do people think that's changed? [short answer is that the online system is a crock of cr8p; it's being binned in seven games time, hopefully with a lot of the other Spanish customs that the tkt office has become renowned for in the last couple of years]. Although fair's fair; I haven't seen this posted anywhere else but the queueing arrangements for collections for P'mouth last Saturday appeared to be very well arranged and efficient, I was there at about 2-15 and went from queueing someway back towards the away team's bus, to tkts in hand in about 5 mins. 'T' was pretty good, straight in, and I loved the (empty) window on the RH side labeled W-Z!

Why would they sell? Because the owner lives in Switzerland and is reportedly not really interested in football or owning the club? Because we are probably at the position of maximising the return on the money that has been spent out? Because maybe NC has fulfilled his friend's dream, maybe he doesn't want to spend any more time in football (or in England?), and maybe he is in-line for 20% of the selling price? None of these are reasons that the club will be sold today or tomorrow but I thought it was a well-written and balanced piece and to say 'why would we sell?' is surely to put one's head in the sand. There are three big reasons why we could be sold if the price is right.

New ticketing system and oyalty points next season
sandwichsaint replied to sifter's topic in The Saints
Call me radical but here's an idea: you have two tills and two queues, one marked CASH and one marked CARD people get to CHOOSE which method they prefer balance the proportion of cash and card tills out according to demand other things being equal, which till would move quicker, the 'cash' one or the 'swipe card' one? personally I would be quite happy to use a swipe card especially if it was rechargeable on line. -
New ticketing system and oyalty points next season

Is there a 'control system' to stop people going for a beer from 35mins onwards? Even better, reverse turnstiles which only open 5 minutes after the game has finished. -
Come back when Saints win a World Cup.

Who do you want to go up to and down from the Premiership?
sandwichsaint replied to SaintBobby's topic in The Saints
Can't believe anybody wants Brighton to go up; nothing against their fans but they are a no-mark club with a monkey-faced manager and they play the ultimate brand of anti-football. With their unfinished ground of 20k they would be a total embarrassment in the Prem. Down, Wolves, the ultimate yo-yo club (why are people defending MM? He's had years and achieved very little -should have gone at Xmas to give them a chance of staying up). QPR - LOL at Mark Hughes, a comedy manager at a comedy club. Bolton, have taken mediocre to the nth degree, Saints without MLT. Blackburn - would luv it, just luv it, if Keane stayed up, for all the games they lost they were rarely out played (and if they stay up this yr they will be hot favourites to go down next year), Wigan, Martinez deserves to stay up but agree that Wigan have become the bed-blockers of the Prem. UP - Saints - consistently the best team in this league, we wobbled but nobody could take advantage. Reading - Noddy club but decent manager, likely to take one of next year's relegation spots. Best-of-the-rest? Don't really care! Like to say Leeds or Leicester, more likely to be West Ham or Brighton or Brum (another team to take one of those all important relegation spots). -

This is a 'joke' right? -
If WH beat R the maximums move to WH 93 R94 .... we would need 16 points to win, 15 to go up If R beat WH the maximums move to WH 90 R97 .... we would need 19 points to win, 12 to go up If R draw with WH the maximums move to WH 91 R95 .... we would need 17 points to win, 13 to go up Bigger 'ifs', if R beat WH and Saints beat Reading maximums move to WH 90 R94 .... we would need 16 points to win, 12 to go up (from 6 games) (All assuming the GD doesn't turn round, it's not impossible to have a 14 goal swing over 7 games but those results would also likely affect the points totals as well. I think we can safely say that it is 'unlikely' to go down to GD, but pedantically speaking we can't 'guarantee' that GD won't come into it.) In terms of going up - we could do with a draw or a Reading win, in terms of winning it we could do with WH winning! In reality it's totally in our own hands, FWIW I expect us to win on Saturday (which would be massive). A totally professional performance last Saturday and I expect NA to continue to CTC and for him and the team to close the season out just like we did last year. COYRs!
