Two corrupt managers due to be exposed...

Alex Ferguson maybe? -
Just seems like an absolute no brainer. He is a goal scorer at this level given the right service. With our creativity he would get on the end of enough chances I am sure. I'm not saying go ahead and sign him but surely an invite to train for a couple of weeks would suit all. If he brings his "billy big balls" attitude as others have called it, I'm sure Nige will give him the "thanks but no thanks" treatment. If he comes in, knuckles down and does well then we have a player who up until 2 or 3 years ago was this divisions top scorer.

Was this post an attempt at irony? -
I'd get him some boots with screw in studs and make sure he's wearing shin pads. Apart from that the school should provide the shirt, socks and shorts. Can't go wrong with Sports Direct for cheap, black, leather boots.

Effing get in there Morgan! 10 ish mins left, lets get the win!!!

46 game season kids. Holmes will get his chances.

Ideal draw for me would be: Liverpool v Chelsea Man City v Man Utd Everton v Arsenal Southampton v Aldershot Bolton v Stoke Cardiff v Wolves Burnley v Palace Newcastle v Blackburn

Totally false position. They have been shocking. Despite the fact their defensive record is the best in the Prem, this is down to luck more than judgement. Arsenal, Sunderland, Villa and QPR have all been guilty of poor finishing against them and they are toothless up front. Decent midfield in Tiote and Cabaye (who is looking like the best signing of the season so far) and Ben Arfa to come back but I think an outfit like us would have a great shout of beating them.
-
Newcastle home or away please. We'd beat them but always a good night up there or if the geordies are in town down here.

I'm a massive fan of Kelvin. Keeps us in games at times. Will never forget Brentford away 2 seasons ago. We drew 1-1 but Kelvin was absolutely outstanding and pulled off about 5 or 6 saves of genuine world class ability.

Pretty sure Nige does. Seem to remember someone started a thread on here a few months ago how they walk past him regularly when he is out walking his dog and he is always happy to stop for a quick chat etc... Top, top bloke is Nige.
-
Both of them are no better than what we have Ben.

More or less every single post you've made on this thread for a start.

He's got a point to be fair. You do come across as a bit of a nob. Most "boys" who indulge in the sort of activities you pertain to get involved in tend not need to advertise this fact on a faceless internet forum. We all know what goes on at the derby and fear not, the old proper faces will be out in force, ticket or no ticket. Banging on every 5 minutes about what to wear and how to act though just makes you appear as someone who's knowledge of such things extends to watching too many repeats of Green Street and I.D and goading away fans from the comfort of the Northam stand.

Not a question of "believing", its a question of enjoying the moment. We are 1/7th of the way through the season but we are top of the league. So a few fans want to sign "we are going up" to away fans to lord it over them a bit. Let them. We've been through enough bad times recently to afford our fans the opportunity to bask in the sunshine of being top of the league, no matter how temporary it may or may not be.

Didnt realise we had so many Irish people posting on here...

Well said. So he's made a few decisions that have peeved a few fans - so what? Everything he does is for the best interests of the club and the fact that in business terms he is a bit of a c*nt probably makes me like him even more.
-
I never said Cortese was perfect but I'd be inclined to say his input was every bit as significant as the names you mentioned. Cortese is very well paid but I'd be willing to bet the names you rattled off were also well looked after by the company. The difference being Cortese is 100% responsible for the money that is paying his wages. He doesn't need to be perfect but everything he does is to benefit the club. If a few decisions he makes mean fans have to spend an extra couple of quid on ticket taxes or parking then so be it. He saved our club and is working to make us a more professional, more successful club on the whole.
-
Cortese is already a legend for saving this club. His input in the short time he has been involved with SFC is as significant as any other person in our entire history.
