  1. More or less every single post you've made on this thread for a start.
  2. He's got a point to be fair. You do come across as a bit of a nob. Most "boys" who indulge in the sort of activities you pertain to get involved in tend not need to advertise this fact on a faceless internet forum. We all know what goes on at the derby and fear not, the old proper faces will be out in force, ticket or no ticket. Banging on every 5 minutes about what to wear and how to act though just makes you appear as someone who's knowledge of such things extends to watching too many repeats of Green Street and I.D and goading away fans from the comfort of the Northam stand.
  3. Not a question of "believing", its a question of enjoying the moment. We are 1/7th of the way through the season but we are top of the league. So a few fans want to sign "we are going up" to away fans to lord it over them a bit. Let them. We've been through enough bad times recently to afford our fans the opportunity to bask in the sunshine of being top of the league, no matter how temporary it may or may not be.
  4. Thats lunch.
  5. A good, original unisex first name is Fritzl.
  6. Didnt realise we had so many Irish people posting on here...
  7. Well said. So he's made a few decisions that have peeved a few fans - so what? Everything he does is for the best interests of the club and the fact that in business terms he is a bit of a c*nt probably makes me like him even more.
  8. I never said Cortese was perfect but I'd be inclined to say his input was every bit as significant as the names you mentioned. Cortese is very well paid but I'd be willing to bet the names you rattled off were also well looked after by the company. The difference being Cortese is 100% responsible for the money that is paying his wages. He doesn't need to be perfect but everything he does is to benefit the club. If a few decisions he makes mean fans have to spend an extra couple of quid on ticket taxes or parking then so be it. He saved our club and is working to make us a more professional, more successful club on the whole.
  9. Cortese is already a legend for saving this club. His input in the short time he has been involved with SFC is as significant as any other person in our entire history.
  10. I fookin' love Rickie. Never since MLT have I been so confident when we get a penalty.
  11. Rickieeee!!!!!!!
  12. Penalty to Saints!!!
  13. Corner Saints...
  14. Come on Saints sort it out...
  15. BCFC radio commentary: http://www.liveonlinefooty.com/bcfcradio/
  16. I'm up in London where it's just spitting. Is the rain enough to put the game in jeopardy?
  17. Ill bolt my load if it is.
  18. Just a shame the standard of football will be absolute pony.
  19. a few sites are claiming to have a stream but I'm dubious. I've just called the Famous 3 Kings pub in London. Usually if they are showing the game there will be a stream online somewhere but they said they can't get it so I doubt there will be any websites showing it. Happy to be proven wrong of course, if anyone wants to PM me a link to a working stream!
  20. They won't bid anything for a 30 year old player.
  21. Maybe but I think theres far more chance of them staying up than us getting promoted. I wouldn't bank on it. I watched them at QPR on Monday, they are a poor side playing poor football but they have some good players like Cabaye, Coloccini and Ben Arfa and there will most definitely be 3 worse sides than them this season in the PL. They'll also surely have to sign a goal scorer in January but Ashley wouldn't sanction a move for a 30 year old player even if we offered him to them on a free. He sees the money on wages wasted as there is no sell on value. The same reason he was prepared to let their best player Barton leave on a free. He'd rather get rid than pay him £60k a week when he knows at the end of his contract he won't be able to sell him. It's a total non-starter. If a PL side takes a punt on him it will be someone like Wigan, Stoke or Bolton.
  22. Neither have we. Difference being they are a globally recognised and respected (more so than in this country) club. They also remain in the top 30 clubs in terms of revenue despite the difficult years they've ecperienced and have phenomenal support. Anyone who denies that is either pig-ignorant or for some reason has a massive chip on their shoulder. That said, it won't happen. There is no way Ashley will be spending any money on a 30 year-old.
  23. Get a D on your left arse cheek and DD on your right, in honour of possibly Southampton's finest right-back of the modern era...
  24. Do you think a professional football player currently in the midst of a court case for ABH or whatever it is would be "liking" football related violence and hooliganism on FB?
  25. I asked him on FB but he is too busy "liking" football violence and hooliganism...
