Nope, not an error but I’d expect a competent keeper to be saving it. It was hardly top bins or tucked away in the bottom corner. I’d forgive any keeper who didn’t save it, it was well struck, as long as they occasionally did save that kind of shit which Bazunu literally never does.

No but they tend to show some promise and their game tends to have some obvious strengths or be showing evident signs of progress. I can honestly say despite the number of first team appearances he's has for us he hasn't demonstrated a competence for any single facet of the game. Even this ridiculous notion that he's great with the ball at his feet is bollocks. And even if it was true, its the least important fundamental skill a keeper should have in their toolkit. There has been no clear improvement in any aspect of his game. As I said before, its not his fault. He's just not up to it. I'm actually starting to feel sorry for him.

The only crumb of confidence I have in them is that they have spent a few quid. On absolute dross mainly but money has been spent. The other big concern is they’ve identified two completely inept, incompetent managers and seen fit to pay compensation for their services on two occasions. They’ll soon have to pay another severance package for the current incumbent too but it needs to be done. The club needs a reality check from top to bottom. They aren’t as clever as they think and they could probably do with someone coming in to upset the applecart by dishing out some home truths.

What I’d give for us to cut the bullshit, get back to basics by bringing Allardyce in. Make us difficult to beat and install a bit of character into the side. As you say, there is no way this squad of players should be underperforming to these levels.
