  1. None of them. I think I genuinely mean that too. Realistically, there is a player in Fernandes but he will want out the minute the season is over and I fully understand that. KWP has wanted out for a couple of years and I can't really blame him. No way he's signing a new contract here. If we can get our money back on THB or potentially a small profit I'd drive the bloke there myself. On reflection, I'd keep Ramsdale but I'd be astounded if he didn't have some sort of release clause/fee worked into his transfer here. His agent wants shooting if he hasn't. Dibling is a prospect but thats all he is. He shouldn't be a guaranteed starter. He still needs to be managed and learn the game. Tries far too much stuff. If we can get a fee north of £35m, that money can be put to better use bringing in 3 or 4 experienced/professional heads to change the culture of the club. Every one else can get fucked.

We are losing every week handsomely. I think its a pretty valid conclusion to reach don't you?

Feel sorry for the bloke in many ways. He's walked into a complete shitshow and a squad full of players who aren't of the required level, irrespective of the formation or tactics selected. I just cant help feel that it would be a huge mistake to let him continue at the helm next season. He needs to go the minute the final whistle of the last game of the season is blown. With that said, I'm fully expecting Sports Republic in their infinite wisdom to double down on him and award him a 5 year deal before spaffing our entire parachute payment on yet more avant-garde shit from the continent to come and sit on our bench.
  4. He made some terrible choices following his stint as Saints which massively stagnated his career. If he has waited a little longer and chose a better club than Reading at the time, who knows what was possible. A fantastic servant to the club in his time here and a thoroughly nice bloke but lets be honest, he benefitted hugely from the resources available to him at the time and the fact we were a big fish in a small, League One shaped pond with a project that saw players like Fonte happy to drop a division to join. Not to mention resources already at the club like Lallana and Schneiderlin. Sometimes best to leave things in the past though and cling on to the happy memories of them than ruin them with almost certain failure this time by bringing him back.
  5. Feel sorry for the non-playing staff but they've had it very good for a number of years and it can happen to employees of any other company type so I won't lose any sleep over it. I have to laugh when Rio Ferdinand complains about how unfair it all is when a few years ago he was flippantly saying Newcastle fans should be grateful for how Mike Ashley ran Newcastle.
  6. He's gone completely Mike Ashley. And I've got all the time in the world for it.
  7. What we'd do for a Jason Puncheon now. To think he couldn't get a game here towards the end.
  8. Imagine thinking Wesley f*cking Hoedt was an adequate replacement for VVD. 🤣
  9. Worryingly he's been by far our best (in the loosest sense of the word) centre-back this season too. THB been a huge disappointment.
  10. The 65 capped full international and 213 appearances for Southampton Jan Bednarek?
  11. Passing it around at the back and the subs all high-fiving the other other subs when they come off. Evidently not…
  12. It’s on Optus Sport 4.

    Fair enough 🤣

When has he played for West Ham this season?

Not if we tried to sign permanently.
  16. If ever there was a player nailed on to end up in Turkey, it was Lemina.
  17. Last time I looked he was wearing the captain's armband at Wolves. Someone's obviously seen some leadership ability in him.
  18. In fairness, I wasn't thinking of Fernandes - more Aribo, Smallbone, Downes etc.. my point should have been that he would comfortably be in the first team.
  19. All fart and no shit. Nice to see a bit of application last night though.
  20. I've personally thought for a while bringing Jordan Henderson back to the prem would be a masterstroke for a club like us. His leadership would do wonders for our team. That said, I thought bringing Lallana back was a good decision too but its clear his legs have completely gone which is a shame.
  21. In fairness, if Lemina were still with us now, he would be our best midfielder by quite some distance. Shows just how far we have declined the past few years.
  22. He’s in good company at this club.
  23. That was KWP.
  24. Need to cut our losses with Adam Armstrong in the PL. He is awful and offers us literally nothing. Archer has proven he’s got a goal in him and with some polishing and regular game time, could improve. I think Tall Paul is an abomination of a player but his big, natural awkwardness does seem to cause confusion and would in theory give the side a focal point and a physical presence. Either have to be better options than Armstrong now.
  25. £70m?!? For all his talent, the lad has 1 goal and 0 assists to his name in the PL this season. We’ll barely get half that fee.
