I’d say the likelihood of having a few more points on the board by virtue of having a more competent keeper in the team throughout the course of the season is high. Regardless, I’m also confident we wouldn’t have won the play-offs with Bazunu in goal either. Luckily we’ll never need to know if I’m right or wrong. All that matters is we are up and he had already proved he is not equipped for the PL.

He should do. He’s failed in his remit of getting us promoted as we certainly won’t win the playoffs. Probably thankfully so as the team is miles off the required standard for the PL. As manager, he has to carry the can. Far too many major issues he seems incapable or uninterested in fixing. Time for a new approach next season with the club about the significantly tighten their belt financially.

He’s owed one after injuring van Dijk just before the League Cup final loss against Man Utd. With VVD fit and doing a job on Zlatan we’d have won that with plenty to spare.

Sincerely hope the lad makes a full recovery. Also hope he’s played his last game for the club. He’s a poor goalkeeper and I’d expect us to sign a better one this summer regardless of our league status.
