At the Sheffield United game I had the usual range of emotions that you get supporting Saints. I new we had to win that game to avoid relegation and I did my bit in the stand to cheer the team on. All of this though was tinged with numbness as I new that as each minute ticked past I would be closer to the end of my attending matches as come the final whistle we were looking at the return of Lowe. The longer you don't attend the easier it does become not to go, but the day Lowe leaves the club I know I will be back cheering on my team from the stands instead of from wherever I may happen to be on a Saturday now.

How do you know thousands wont come back? I and at least 10 other people I know will return once Lowe is gone and not one of them post on here so I would say there will be quite a few who will return.

Lowe leaves the club tomorrow then I will return cost cutting or not. I know I'm not the only person like this and think you may be surprised on how many would return if he went. Lowe leaving could really unite the fanbase and make a massive difference to the atmosphere at home games which you never know may help the young'uns.

Why do people keep assuming this. I have been (for all of my 38 years) and still am a fan but at the moment I will not go whilst the person I hold accountable for the sorry state we find ourselves in is here only to protect his investment. The day he goes I will return and as long as he has no more to do with our club I will stay whatever the results are. I'm sure that some may disappear but there are plenty of us out here who will return and will keep coming.

Three of us had the idea about people who were not going to re-new season tickets all joining forces to show the club what they would be missing out on. It was mainly put about on the old Saints Forever and Ugly Inside sites to see what kind of interest there was. Then there was an idea of the fly-by and we tried to see if it was something people would be prepared to contribute to. To our surprise an exiled Saints fan Rob (posts on here as Offix) contacted us to say he was prepared to pay for the whole thing so it sort of took off from there (pun intended). We then spent a fair amount of time talking to the press (local and national) as well as giving out leaflets at I think 3 games (was especially entertaining at 2 of them Cardiff and Millwall) Did it make any difference? your guess is as good as mine. At the time maybe it helped Wilde make up his mind that enough people cared about the club that he may have some support. As it turns out Lowe went that summer and the whole thing just sort of fizzled out. At the time the three of us were motivated enough to do it now 2 of us are not going one still does and the day Lowe goes is the day I'll return as I'm sure will others. The day Lowe goes I will be back. We have seen some sh*t over the years but that does not bother me as you know. I'm just not prepared to go when the person I hold accountable is back at the club only because he is worried about his investment.

I'm glad to see that Shrek is back and in full voice!!!! As you know mate I couldn't be arsed from the start of the season so you've done a better job than me lasting this long. Sad thing is you end up not caring what happens, don't get me wrong I don't want Saints to lose but the hurt you used to feel starts to diminish. **** sake Bridget had me cleaning windows yesterday afternoon. You will never make people understand that we hold Lowe accountable for the position we are in and yes we protested about him from the beginning and before we were in the cup final which always gets thrown in your face when you have an anti Lowe debate on this site. Some of us can be moved into action but at the end of the day what is the point, people are too apathetic about it all. They seem to think it is easier to just stop going than join in with anything organised. We know plenty of people who would return the moment Lowe leaves the club (myself included) and I don't think we are the only people like that. At least it would of made you feel better at the time.
