Absolutely, just because Hamas are a proscribed terrorist organisation throughout much of the world, it doesn't mean we can't learn a thing or two about media control from them.
  3. Yeah was being flippant because at no point did I say that the risk of injury was the same in training as competitive matches so your reply seemed a bit redundant.
  4. Probably best not to play them at all then, you know, just to be on the safe side
  5. Doubt it really matters but I'd play the strongest side possible. It's not like we're still in a fixture list backlog and think it would do the players some good to have a game. Obviously not worth risking anyone who has any fitness doubts but the rest of them can play. I can see the idea behind trying to avoid injuries but they can happen at any time, we going to stop them training too? Nah, get 'em on the pitch doing their job.
  6. People's irrational hatred of Trump? Oh come on, he denied (and still does) the result of a legitimate democratic election. I could go on all day about everything else but that purely on it's own is enough for rational hatred.
  7. Yeah, I can't put your kids one in my cart either.
  8. Cold, wet, miserable and boring as fuck.

Is there an opinion poll in favour of continuing military action in Gaza? My sixth form IT skills can’t find one.
  10. Ah, yeah, you see what I did there was to parody your views for comic effect. I do regret not calling you a pinko though - it really would have worked better. Promise it won't happen again.
  11. Who'd have thought it? LD champion of the benefit fraudster, the sicknote employee and the workshy. Bloody lefty.
  12. And you repeated when talking about Dom Cummings trip to a castle. I'm sure I can find it if I had time and inclination.
  13. Coming from someone who often repeated the phrase "Brexit trumps bad behaviour" and was repeatedly willing to overlook anything dodgy if it aided Brexit, I find this quite ironic.
  14. That's always a problem with meetings in prison canteens. All those personality tests are bullshit - at one place we did one where we got assigned colours instead of the four letters - when we got our results everyone compared and it was like some bizarre corporate version of reservoir dogs.
  15. Spoken like a true Libran. Interestingly (or not), all these "professional" personality tests like Myers Briggs work in exactly the same way as astrology - take a broad, vague and generally positive statement and tell people it applies to them. I still can't get my head around how supposedly intelligent people fall for that crap.
  16. Tommy Forecast didn't touch the ball his entire career.
  17. What’s the team?
  18. Nice to see it being modelled by Larios and Ross Stewart.
  19. What stand are we making? I'd quite like a replica Archers Road although I'd settle for Milton Road.
  20. Out of interest, where do you stand on the cultural appropriation argument?
  21. Dunno mate, the packet was inverted as is the modern way.
  22. Have to say I quite enjoyed it when the empty crisp packet blew onto the pitch, great movement and so so brave. Other than that I thought it was a bit boring.
  23. It's pretty simple, first and foremost his job was to get us promoted - that was his remit and let's not forget SR wanted to win the league, not just get promoted. We're a decent club with parachute payments, a decent squad for this level and better resources than most. He masterminded the transfer policies, he picked the manager and with something like 8 or 9 games left we're pretty much out of the automatic promotion picture. That's a big fat failure.
  24. If the manager honestly thought Bree was a better bet and it wasn't fitness related then I'll absolutely blame Martin. Mental decision (in all seriousness).
  25. Nope, couldn't give a flying fuck. He's another bullshit merchant who will bang on about alignment and long term projects to deflect from results. His job was to get us promoted and admittedly we could still do it but pretty unlikely. He'll suit Man United - they want results and instead he'll give them a project and tell them to be patient. As you say, he's got the big calls wrong. On a personal level he's obviously got no integrity (that's assuming he has resigned), he must have spent the summer trying to persuade players like KWP to stay and the moment he gets a sniff of a decent job he can't even be arsed to stay till the end of the season. Yeah, he can do one.
