  1. I could have put Bob Dylan in my original list too. I don't really like any of his songs with the exception of Subterranean Homesick Blues. Quite like All along the watchtower but only the Hendrix version.
  2. Mild cheddar. I'm not 'avin any of that foreign muck or cheeses with pretentious delusions of sophistication eaten by sandal wearing, latte drinking lefties.
  3. You had to edit that? Least it’s under 10,000 words this time.
  4. And then there's people with nearly 60k posts about people moaning about people moaning about people moaning
  5. Big thing is whether they start doing PPV (which I guess they probably will do). Must admit I haven't really watched Sky Boxing since matchroom left them but there isn't much domestic stuff to tempt me to watch them for boxing anyway. Yeah, I expect the next few years will be filled with mergers of streaming services and media companies in general.
  6. I won't bother to watch it live but I'll probably watch it later on Sunday. Generally I'm quite happy with Netflix getting involved in boxing and was pleased when they did the Crawford v Canello fight but this is a bit meh.
  7. I'll take 18 actual points out of 24 over your opinion any day of the week and twice on Sundays. If you find people repeating the only stat that means anything tedious then listening to people who have watched too much Carragher and fancy themselves as armchair pundits is ten times worse. I have no idea if the run will continue - if it doesn't then Tonda will deserve some stick but so far he's done a good job and I'm happy to give him credit for it. It was irrelevant to the point I was making which is that actual wins trumps opinion or placing it in some arbitrary pile of stats that may or may not mean anything.
  8. It's irrelevant because it wasn't the argument I was making. I could try and explain it again but once is enough.
  9. I've no idea and that's pretty much irrelevant. My point is you can do your monday morning quarterback sessions all you like but let's not relegate winning games into just another stat like possession percentage or xG.
  10. I've read some bollocks on here but this takes the biscuit. Winning games is the only thing that counts.
  11. Slow Horses is excellent and I'm looking forward to watching Down Cemetery Road. Slightly different but Dopesick stands out over the last few years. Bit of an oldie now but back in the day "Edge of Darkness" was a big favourite of mine.
  12. Depends how much Tonda wants to change things around for the sake of one position. If we go to a back 4 then I'd be playing Wellington instead of Manning too.
  13. Unfortunately probably nailed on if Fellows isn't fit. We don't really have many other options with both Mads and Jelert out so unless there's a kid able to make the jump to the first team then I'm not sure what other choices he has.
  14. Isn't that the whole point of betting?
  15. It was a joke. I quite liked Chinatown though.
  16. Terrible when you consider that between 2019 and 2037 there won't have been a single host nation tournament outside of the middle east.
  17. I thought you'd be all for bigger tits - you seem to take the side of most of them.
  18. Zone 14? Isn't that the new leisure thing at St Mary's? This isn't a particular pop at you but my god I swear some on here would be critical of peak 1970 Brazil. We've won 5 out of six, beat some decent teams, scored a shedload of goals and most importantly had a few patches where we've looked really really good. Probably the best we've played in at least two years but I'd argue maybe better than two years ago as we're breaking with pace and intent rather than possession for the sake of it. I've no idea if it'll last or not but I'm going to enjoy feeling good about Saints for as long as I can. Each to their own I guess.
  19. Great goal against Norwich but I thought he looked a bit lightweight. He played the equivalent of about 11 games from 28 appearances last season but only 5 of those appearances lasted more than 65 minutes. He might be a better option than Aribo but I'm not sure he's that much more of a better option.
  20. Anyone who uses AI to try to justify or settle an argument.
  21. Yeah for some reason I just don't like them and never have. I did wonder if the title might be misleading but thought "musical acts whether a band or solo" might be a bit long. Jackson Pollock is shite though.
  22. So this is reserved for those acts that the "algorithm" thinks you should like but you really, really don't. The skip button was designed for the following: Talking Heads Foo Fighters Red Hot Chilli Peppers The Clash Roxy Music Nick Cave Tom Waits Mumford and Son Obviously all subjective, no justifications needed but I'd rather stick pins in my eyes than hear "Road to nowhere" again.
  23. Did you read the reform manifesto and their spending plans for last GE? Made Liz Truss look like a safe pair of hands in comparison.
  24. I'm not sure he's got it in his game to drop deep and link up play like Armstrong is doing at the moment but I'd like to see how he fares in the team, mainly because we're creating really good chances and he's still our best finisher. Reckon he'd probably thrive on some of the balls Scienza, Azaz and Fellows are delivering. That said, would be nice to finally get that physical presence we all thought Downs was going to be as well.
  25. So the thing that will really clinch it for you is to win some matches, lose some matches and then win some more matches? That’s mental.
