Just looking at the advertising hoardings in some of those clips to see the companies associated with us at the time and how successful they have been. Northern Rock, British Steel, Sega, Today Newspaper, Bonusprint, Littlewoods stores, Homebase, Cellnet... When you look at how many goals came from proper wing play with overlapping fullbacks, strikers actually in the box, centre forward who could hold up the ball and lay it off (never really appreciated how many assists Ian Dowie had!) how I wish we would play like that again now.

Could it be that they have identified someone who wants to come to us, but knows without a striker and goalie they would be on a hiding to nothing?
