Paid the price for not having Jander or Charles in the middle. Nothing against Bragg or Downes but they don't have the same effect that those two had. Leaves too much space which Watford exploited in the first half. Two big mistakes but there were opportunities to recover both at the time and later. Awful first half again, it seems to happen so often even when we were winning last season. The fouls on Scienza completely knocked the stuffing out of him, probably would have been better to take him off. Oh well at least the unbeaten run monkey is off our back.

No options in CM, our strongest area last season, where we (nearly) always rotated. With Shea gone and Jander not fit enough yet it has left us exposed.and limited our attacking threat. Happy for Bragg as he deserves to start though.

We don't have 'plenty' of midfielders. We need 4 CMs for the system and way we play. Critical that we replace Shea. Also critical that we bring in one or more like 2 strikers (and get rid of BBD/Down). Also need a backup keeper.

Great shame, but sadly inevitable. I always like having a Norn Iron player in the squad. Still think he could have done better than Fulham (or Leeds)

I think BBD's performance today demonstrates that need completely. What an absolute waste of space.

He hasn't been charged with spying as you well know and furthermore he did not do any spying. His "crime" is unconnected to his activity on the field of play so his sanction should reflect that, more appropriate would be a ban from football activity. How does banning someone from the touchline reinforce that he or anyone else should avoid such activity in the future. But if they offer touchline ban then he should bite their hand off, because its almost meaningless.

Correct, a touchline ban or even a stadium ban is not an appropriate punishment, but hell if that's what it is snap their hand off.

That's not true, the FA has direct authority over teams wanting to play friendlies in Europe (or anywhere else) requiring prior application and sanctioning under FA Rule B. And, by the way the FA are not the authority for Wales either, but that's neither here nor there.

So sorry to be realistic. Everyone has rose tinted specs with Cyle, but the truth is he doesn't seem to be much different to Stewart, in terms of availablity.

Good to see something useful on this thread, instead of all the drivel being posted. Did Larin look fit? It's been a while since we saw him labouring with some sort of injury in Canada's 3rd game, with no proper preseason and his fitness issues I don't feel that confident of relying on Cyle, much as I like the guy, he will probably struggle to start 30 games this season.

Don't forget there were 3 charges, not just one. Also he has form when he was assistant at Barnsley.
