Painer played against Mexico (2nd group game) which we won 2-0, but he was injured and that was the last of his 19 caps.

He was unlucky, but definitely a pen. There was no push and just think he caught the back of the ankle, probably didn't really need to get so close, but in the end it didn't matter.

Apart from last night he has actually. Like everyone else he seemed to be way off last night. The whole team and the performance stunk.

Other than the assist I thought he had seriously regressed since he first came back in when he did look sharp.

Think you need to rewind a few seconds, he tumbled over a couple of times following a coming together with their defender, got up and tried to run on but clearly felt something.

Slight concern that Jelert not on the bench. If Bree gets a yellow then is Jelert fit for the next 2 games, let alone what would happen if Bree were to be injured, guess we'd revert to the dreaded 3 at the back. Welington still not fit either presumably.

Are you sure this is how it works? I think its up to and including the team's 37th game, not gameweek. I hope you're right obviously. Managing Downes and Bree for 2 games is a bit of a problem.
