Tonda has not been charged with spying, that is an EFL rule that applies to the Club. He has been charged x3 by the FA with bringing the game into disrepute, which though it will be related to the spying has a wider scope that probably includes stuff to do with coercion. All the arguments on here about the EFL rule, whether they are correct or not are largely irrelevant. The FA have rules that say clubs must treat other clubs with due respect which covers espionage without being specific like the EFL rule, and as have said several times they are most interested in policies that some might refer tonas woke, like discrimination, bullying and so on.

We never got to that game, the 3rd spying incident was before the semi-final 1st leg, which as far as I'm aware does not have any prize at all. Sorry if that's a bit MLG.

The FA did not charge Bielsa in 2019. The only charge was by the EFL against Leeds. You can't claim Bielsa as a precedent if no charge was brought.

The Club accepted responsibility by way of the EFL Charges, and the EFL are not authorised to charge or punish individuals, only the FA have this authority. Personally I tend to agree with you that the club should have taken more responsibility, it seems to me Tonda has taken the rap in order to protect not only subordinates, but also his bosses.

It was more than a gesture from Tonda, he seemed to be fuming with what was happening, and not just Wood, Peretz was getting in a tangle of his own making a few times, his kicking last night was reminiscent of Forster, kicking for touch was never a good tactic. The commentator on Sky made a point of it as well. It does seem like the players don't seem able to think for themselves in these situations, something Tonda has said before he wants them to do more often. Playing out from the back is good at times, but sometimes they need to change it up and make different decisions.

Just to nitpick, as you say the back 4 played the best so far this season, so its a little ironic that the one good chance they had came 4 minutes after we switched to a back 5.
