I wonder if Clyne might play LB next year if/when Shaw goes. Don't think it's as important to be left footed to play that side as someone like Azpiluceta has shown at Chelsea

Davis MOTM again (second in 3 days, playing outstandingly well just now) and big shouts to Yoshi and Chambers as well. Fair play to Yoshi, given a run of games he's been excellent, well worth keeping as the third CB in the squad

If he does OK for Juve and has a half decent WC he'll be away. Inter, Valencia, Juve etc I'll put money on him scoring for ITA against Eng in the WC. Bank it, you just know it will happen

I'd like to see Targett get a few games, big chance Shaw will be away this summer with the clamour for him, so be good to see him in the EPL and if he's got the same level of ability we've seen from Luke and Chambers

If Shaw goes in the summer I'd put a bid in for their LB, Davies, he's a good player

I still cant believe how people want to push Davis out the team so they can shoe in 3 CM's. Davis has been superb this season, its his workrate and industry that lets Lallana and JRod play so well. For Stoke id be tempted to start VW again because he really does need the game time

Stoke have had their day winning against the Mancs, they'll be spent next week, expect to win this comfortably. Chance maybe to get VW and SG some more playing time and no doubt Clyne will start if Chambers knock was serious

You want to look at the build up thread, soom as Cork was left out there were a few who couldn't even spell his name saying he should be dropped and Morgan pushed into his place. Seriously underrated player, makes us tick, his lay off to Clyne for the second was sublime

Worth a big shout for Boruc too as he kept us in the game first half with another 2 or 3 blinding saves

Lambert was awful first half but i'll be the first to say he was transformed second half. Morgan looked a lot better with Cork. Lallana is unplayable just now, he's close to world class right now Fulham though were desperate, they're as good as down. Be a fire sale there as well. I'd take Hangeland and Sidwell as squad players
