  1. Waved goodbye on the left back thread, not seen since We need scooby doo to solve the mystery
  2. Can we have a sweepstake on how long he takes to start calling people over there clappers and realists, or starts a thread about how he would prefer we were Sunderland?
  3. This, I said much the same on the Sherwood thread, If I were a manager I wouldn't go anywhere near Levy. Stay with Saints for another year, bring through one or two more academy players and then get a CL job either in England or Spain
  4. I seriously don't understand why any manager would want to go to Spurs under Levy. It's a Graveyard where managers go to die, the players know full well they can jack it in and the chairman will fire the manager. If I was Poch I'd be asking the SFC board if we have money to send and are prepared to keep our players because if we are I think he stays with a long term view to a better job in the future
  5. I know which of those papers I'd believe! Suspect this a bargaining position. Everyone knows United will be desperate this summer so we should absolutely try and fleece them
  6. I would say i'd miss Barry but i'd be completely lying Site will be a lot better off without him. Skate WUM. Well done mods (finally)
  7. Or you have budgeted already for a certain amount of transfer money in (i.e from Shaw) so you can begin working on getting your own transfer targets in during the summer. Players like say Ings, Marshall, Cresswell, Redmond etc wont be at the WC
  8. I think as has been mentioned before this deal has probably in the pipeline for months. if it is £27-30m plus add-ons i don't see how we (or many other clubs to be fair) could turn it down
  9. Sing to the theme of Give Me Joy In My Heart(Sing Hosanna)* Stay on your feet, on your feet Steven Gerrard, on your feet, on your feet I say, Stay on your feet, on your feet Steven Gerrard, and you'll win the Premier League in May, but you slipped, but you slipped Steven Gerrard, and you gave Demba Ba the ball, then he scored and you cried Steven Gerrard, and now in May your gonna win f**k all.
  10. You have to seriously consider that but given everyone knows ManU are desperate you'd push for 30m plus a sell on clause. Not sure where Targett is or even if Clyne do a job there next season but pretty sure you could get a decent LB for under 5m (Cresswell?) and reinvest the rest
  11. I think he will go and if anywhere i hope it's Liverpool under Rodgers but to sell before the WC is deluded, his price could go up 15m if he has a blinder Whatever happens he should be given a proper reception on sat for all he has done for us
  12. This is true and they all hate Levy as well, if he goes and fails Levy will have to walk i'd suspect so im surprised he isnt going for a safer pair of hands. They went the young manager route with AVB and it failed badly. That whole club is rotten top to bottom so if Poch does go, then good luck as he will need it
  13. Paul Smith @Smudge1962 Tottenham will not pursue their interest in Ajax's Frank de Boer paving the way for Mauricio Pochettino to become their new boss #THFC
  14. This and it's nowt to with loyalty etc. You and I and anyone else would move on to play for a top 4 club at the highest levels of the game for double or triple your wages
  15. HAha, that was brilliant, fair play
  16. Indeed, looks and sounds great on the feed. Barry should present an award, happy clapper of the season
  17. What about the young Fulham CB?
  18. Would anyone from Fulham or Cardiff improve our team?

    Wanyama

So we gain from having him but you'd still rather have someone else. Errrr ok then
  20. Would like to see him get a full 45 or 90 to see what hes really got but looks full of energy and spiky in the cameos he has had
  21. No Moaners tonight? Wonder why

This. As a team we are far far better defensively when vw plays. Said the same last week
  23. I like him but sadly there is such a dearth of strikers you will have 6 or 7 PL teams trying to sign if Sunderland go down, which they may well not do, hence the price will likely be silly
