  1. This, if we get 50m off the Scousers for Lovren and Lallana we have royally mugged them off, make no mistake. Lallana is a 60 minute player and m not sure how he fits in their system with Sterling and Countinho. Lovren started well for us but was very suspect second half of the season (remember Spurs away). We could easily pick up a similar player for 10-15m. De Vrij, Caulker etc. RK will know his CBs Someone said it earlier but Liverpool look like this years Spurs, Suarez got them to second place on his own and is off, Gerrard is finished, their defence is shocking and they seem to have signed 5 AMs. Can see then struggling back down in 5th or 6th next year where they belong and good riddance.
  2. Great news, hopefully the first of a few, including Pelle, bit worrying the club can only do one deal at a time though when you'd hope given th money and needs we have we'd have multiple irons in the fire
  3. This, if these players don't want to be here, just get rid and let RK start over with his team, with a good team spirit. Lovren for 20m, Osvaldo for whatever we can get and bring in players like Van Djik, Caulker, Cresswell, Ings etc with whatever you make
  4. I'd be happy with Cresswell, Ben Davies or the lad from Dundee Utd
  5. 26m is way more than what he is probably worth so again well done to SFC for completely robbing the Scousers and the Mancs
  6. The people on here chucking vitriol at Lallana are having a ****ing laugh. Seriously ? He came in to the team in league one when we had nothing, was part of a core of players who took us on a marvellous run culminating in finishing 8th in the EPL and he wants to join a bigger club, on more money, challenge for titles and play in the CL Like every single one of you mongs slagging him wouldn't do exactly the same thing Good luck to Lallana and Lambo and hope they do really well (just not against us)
  7. This. Completely We've made 55m today as a club, think about that for a minute
  8. I imagine Josh Sims is in that discussion as from what i've been told the top 4 are already keeping close tabs on him
  9. Thanks as ever mate Hopeful that RK has been given that big budget to spend and we won't be long until that first 10m is spent, I'm hoping Tadic, De Vrij or Caulker
  10. I'm assuming you've never seen Targett play or know nothing of his development or where the club see him? Yet you're making the same sweeping generalisations people made about Shaw when he started getting in the first XI squads. Trawl back to SWF posts back then and you'll read similar comments to yours now From what I've read previously he is technically very good, good defensively but isn't big enough yet. Poch thought enough of him last year to have him in with the first team regularly He will still be better than Danny Fox :-)
  11. If there is a meltdown over a club getting £30m or more for an 18 year old LB with three quarters of a season behind him our fans really are ferking stupid Koeman will have sanctioned this i suspect and we will use those funds to hopefully go after 3 or 4 very good players. Pelle, Kolodciejak, De Vrij, Van Djik, Marshall, Caulker - we could buy 3 or 4 of them with that money
  12. Hope that's true, would take those two for that price On another note, in the words of Kevin Keegan, im going to absolutely love it when Suarez tells Liverpool he wants off to Barcelona...
  13. This all day long and you could get Neil Taylor, Cresswell or Timothee (the French lad) for 5m if Targett's not ready
  14. 3 weeks away with England and all the show ponies and (if this is true) he's turned into a **** Lets hope when he gets home with his family, mates and team mates he gets back to normal
  15. I wondered last off season why he and the club didnt work on him bulking up a bit, he's not quick anyway so putting a few pounds of muscle on would help him and he's the perfect age to do it
  16. The lad who came on from Ghana looked a good change of pace type wide player, another puncheon type maybe
  17. I thought he really struggled in some games last season. At spurs and Chelsea away he was bullied off the ball and out of position numerous times. I think his best position is one of the 3 behind the striker but he needs to either become a Steven Davies type and knit play together or learn how to take a player on. With the crossing ability he has he reminds of beckham and he never had the pace or skill to go around a FB either
  18. This, and the front 4 have to press as Liverpool and Saints do in that system, the players looked lost to me, like they weren't quite sure what sort of game they were supposed to play. Gerrard was exposed all season as a DM who hasn't got the legs or strength to sit in front of a back 4
  19. Your'e constant bed wetting is getting really tiresome....
  20. Agree with this, it will be the same starting XI with Rooney and Sterling swapping places. If we play at a high tempo then we ought to win but if they score and park the bus i'd look to get players like Lallana and Barkley on as they can unlock defences sitting deep
  21. This All we have is twitter mongs and the mirror/mail who are about as spot on as the Sunday sport. He has said nothing, the club have said nothing other than they would like him to stay In the absence of immediate facts too many people in the social media age fill in the blanks and believe any old ****e
  22. Sadly Roy is another Eng manager who's instinct is hard work and not to lose, Rooney and Welbeck will play, it will be a slow tepid game and if it's 0-0 both managers will walk away delighted Pirlo scares me though, he'll be the best player on the pitch
  23. Berry Soncheeze
  24. So we have a shortlist of x, including Koeman and have spoken to him So now we speak to the others and make a decision As it should be
