Anyone calling for Ralph to resign should give their head a wobble. Why on Earth would he?! Calling him for him to be sacked is one thing but this whole "Do the decent thing and resign" always makes me laugh

If we win this 1-0 in the last minute, I'll call it a great day. I've said before, I could not care less what brand of football is played or how boring the game is as long as we get a win. Same sentiments if we go all guns blazing, play epic football and lose, in that case it's a horrible day.

I'd consider bringing on Armstrong for Mara. Mara's done brilliantly off the ball but Everton haven't had enough possession to justify having that kind Long 2.0 player.

IMO he's the only player who's looked up for it so far. Mara to a lesser extent.

Off topic but we played some absolutely lovely football under Jan tbf considering the resources available. He was just tactically clueless. That away game at Derby where we won 1-0 fairly late on, the football was absolutely mesmerising.

Nail.On.Head Saying stuff like "We were so many points off 7th" and "We only finished 8th because everyone else was bad" is just so counter productive. Leicester only won the league because everyone else was bad. Having said that, they sacked their manager soon after so maybe it's not that good of an example.

Not really, I'd imagine you judge them on what they've done? I was in favour of keeping Puel because he'd got us to a cup final and finished 8th. Those who were in favour of getting rid I'd imagine felt this way because of the awful football and the poor end to the season. Both sides were retrospective.

You can't judge a manager based on what they may or may not have done in the future...

He's always been good at picking up the ball and bursting forward. That's about it though.

I'm sure it's probably been posted but we're the only team to have beaten every single club to have won the PL at some stage whilst they're Champions. Extremely unlikely that anyone else will ever do that considering Leicester and Blackburn would both have to win the league again.
